But anyways, this will hopefully be the official Black Ops thread. Talk about it, discuss it, etc. Obviously, the game isn't out yet, but w/e. (That was a ****load of commas)

1) You only get two perks in mutliplayer, and this combination of perks determines your third perk. 2) There is a new armour system, e.g. Cold-Blooded and juggernaut are armours you can wear (not much detail given on this). 3) The FAMAS returns, but is no longer a 3-round burst weapon. Instead it is full-auto. 4) There is no M4. Instead another new gun mentioned seems like it will take its place, the SIG Commando. 5) Other new weapons confirmed include the RPK, Skorpion and MAC11. 6) There is no commando perk. (:]) 7) The scavenger perk is included, but no longer replenishes equipment. 8) The One man army perk is also not included. 9) The highest killstreak reward (at this time in devlelopment) is 15. 10) There is no emergency airdrop, but there is a care package. 11) As confirmed before, killstreaks will not stack. For instance, if you get a 5 kills without dying and receive your killstreak reward, the kills you get with that killstreak reward will not count towards your next killsreak (e.g. 7 kill killsteak). You will have to get two more kills, in that instance, by other means to receive your next killstreak. 12) You can sprint to prone in the current build of the game. Basically this means you can dive straight on your belly after sprinting, instead of having to stop, crouch and than go prone. 13) The tactical knife is gone, while a new knife is being introduced: the ballistic knife. This is a knife that has a spring that can shoot a blade (in real life, not necessarily in the game). 14) The claymore is a piece of equipment, and you only get 1 per life. 15) Grenades are not considered equipment, and replenished by scavenger. 16) The M16 is in the game, and still a powerful weapon. (Or as Woody puts it, still the ****!) 17) The PSG1 sniper rifle is in the game. 18) UAV, airstrike and 3 types of helicopters are back as killstreaks. The Pave Low is confirmed as well, and has a feature unique to the game. 19) The SR-71 plane is also one of the killstreak rewards.
It's a gaming community. Saying that is like visiting 4chan and then complaining that it's uncivilized, it's just the way things are.
Don't be so lazy. People get extremely annoyed when you know you're right and they know they're wrong, they end up getting incredibly frustrated. This causes problems for both them and for their ill-conceiving parents.
Oh and yeah, if you 'need' to scream into a microphone, yelling profanities to people simply because YOU SUCK, and your parent tolerates it, then they are f***ed up. It is really as simple as that.
As for Black Ops, I don't care for gameplay either. I will enjoy Wager Modes due to the poor community raging, and I know this sounds arrogant but I am a more than decent player, back me up here Elitemagical <3 And just because I use ninja tactics don't mean I suck, come on Zing ya know I own! You know it...
Also blending this with enhanced customization with Theater Mode, this should be suitably awesome, for the most part.

Of course it's bad parenting when you get kids randomly shouting racism and assorted vulgarities over the net but screaming at each other and getting pissed off has been the done thing for ages, Modern Warfare 2 just opened up a gateway allowing everybody of every age to play, and of course you're going to see more discord with a larger group of people.

It makes no sense. How much of the game have you seen? 5 10 minutes? Most of it probably wasn't even gameplay.
Why? Should everyone just keep quiet until it's release? Of course not. These videos and trailers are all released to market the product and showing off the latest features. Maybe Treyarch don't want feedback and maybe no one in the public has used these features yet, but they're there so why not analyse them and make premature judgements? They'll evolve eventually, once player's get experience with them, but there's absolutely no problem with people looking at what they're being given and deducing stuff.

At the top of the forum there should be a green button saying something along the lines of Add Thread. Don't make one about Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2 though, there's an uncountable array of duplicates regarding those subjects.

I, personally, am not hating on the game, I'm not saying it sucks, I'm just trying not to excite myself too much. I'm tired of people saying "This game will be the SH1TZ0RZ" or "This is going to be the best game of all time" When it's not going ot be even close to the best game ever.

No, it hasn't been done for ages. It was exceptionally rare in BF games. And in CoD4. It opened only in MW2, as far as I am concerned.
