This would be like me saying "All Christians are" or "All Muslims are", witch is taken as racism.... In some countries you would get your head blown of for saying statements like this.
Dacer, bringing others down is not a way to win a debate. And I agree with 314, your statement is very general and can be considered prejudice. Not ALL atheists are like that. In fact, many that I have met are not even strongly opposed to religions. They just choose not to believe in one, but are still open to the fact that others do.

Perhaps you don't understand what I'm saying. I'm saying that most athiests i have met have a misplaced sense of eltism, I'm not just insulting them. I was never trying to start a debate btw, your one of those ***gots who think everyone wants to debate with you over nothing.
Then use the word "most" instead of leaving it out. And it is a debate forum. If you are going to insult someone, then prepare for a debate. If I made a forum " Your views on Christianity" then wrote "Christians are fools who are easily tricked and are stupid. Most do not even know there religion" then it would be logical Christians would show up to debate.

The majority of atheists I have met are nothing like you describe, the exact opposite actually. They don't go around flaunting that they believe in nothing and that everyone should be just like them. I know many atheists, and I have met only ONE that was a complete jerk about it. Probably less than 1%. I don't really know where you live... or maybe you just don't know who is atheist and who isn't.

There. Not most. All. Even though many have religious backgrounds. Even though many know more then others. Everything we (A majority of faithless on this site) say about religion can be quoted either in a science aria or from the Bible, making it cold hard fact and cold hard what the Bible says.
