I can see the logic behind it, but the pathetic elitsm that follows most athiests i have met is a huge downside. Athiests use logic so much, it become flawed. Anything they say about religion is theoretical ignorance. Yet they think everything they say about religion is cold hard fact.
Overall athiests are logical, but a majority of them really have no idea what they're talking about half the time they speak about religion.

So when you say that all atheists that debate religion believe that their views are right... well obviously. Or else they wouldn't be debating. And as I have already said, many of them ARE well informed, not ignorant. And have credible sources, as 314 already mentioned.

What I am saying is that the same thing also happens on "your side of the fence". There are theists whom are constantly trying to prove that religion is the way, and have no ability to change their train of thought. They always will believe that there is a god, he exists, etc.
