I can see the logic behind it, but the pathetic elitsm that follows most athiests i have met is a huge downside. Athiests use logic so much, it become flawed. Anything they say about religion is theoretical ignorance. Yet they think everything they say about religion is cold hard fact.

Overall athiests are logical, but a majority of them really have no idea what they're talking about half the time they speak about religion.

wtf are you smoking?

Dictionary quote time already? Here then.

a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Disprove science? completely irrelivant. When you try to disprove religion, there is no fact on anything you are saying. Religion is based on faith, you can't debate faith.

These theists attempt to disapprove science without any fact to what they are saying as well. They just say that God created life in the Garden of Eden, not that it was created through evolution which is actually a proven fact. They disapprove of it based only on an opinion.

And you say you can't debate religion. Then why are you trying to debate the lack of religion? Many atheists debate religion because they are trying to get their opinion across. However, like many RELIGIONS have done in the past, they do not try to forcefully assimilate anyone.

i think atheism is pointless, it shows no punishment for bad moral behavior (except for law), so when you die, there is no punishment, making life like an "all-you-can-eat" for chaos and disorder.

Some of us don't require a moral compass borrowed from a God. We can afford our own - and don't forget, morality is relative anyway. It would be immoral for me to go out now and murder, pillage and rape - not because it says so in a Holybook but because my own moral compass tells me that action would cause unnecessary pain and misery to those around me. Atheism is better in that sense because with your own moral compass comes a greater sense of empathy to those around you.

evolution which is actually a proven fact

Theory. It's a theory. A widely accepted theory, just like the big bang. We have strong evidence that it happened, just we can't actively see it, making it impossible to test.

Why do choose to accept cell theory and not theory of evolution?

Actually, science has done a fairly good job of destroying most of the bible. I.e. it's all BS, just look at a little bit of science.

the bible, I have said it once.

I won`t say it again.

We can create primitive life, we may be able to test evolution in the near future using quick reproducing bacteria with different attributes...

Evolution has been pretty much proven, not 100% proven, but yea.

Yes, atheists have an opinion. Are they not people too? Do they not have the right to share that opinion? Right now, I'm understanding that you are saying that all atheists should shut up and not try to share their opinions on religion. Which would make you the ignorant one, not them.

OPINION

Well my opinion is just that the universe came out of a theoretical hole in reality, hmm... Now that I think about it, that's remarkably similar to what you think seeing as any theist is, by definition irrational.

the bible, I have said it once.

I won`t say it again.

Are you dissing your holy book now? Last time I checked most Christians believed it was actually written by God.

When you have an opinion, you don`t use that to try and disprove an entire religion.

based of the atheists that I have met (again, ME.) most of them try to disprove anything you say about religion.

things like GOD, you can`t prove he`s there, and you can`t disprove it, it`s all about faith.

When it's an opinion about the existence of the Deity that makes that religion A religion - then yes, you do. With evidence and debate, you do.
