This is a bit of a forum game, but at the same time it has the capacity to result in a bit of poetry, so it goes here. I'm going to supply a line of poetry, and the following poster is to create a poem using the line I gave as their first. Along with their poem, they supply a line for the next person to write poetry on. No restrictions on the type of line or poetry; just keep the line open ended.
Cold blooded killer, Walking down your road, He lies in wait, Hoping that you'll stumble Hoping that you'll trip up. Then he'll have you. Then he'll grab you in his claws. His claws that are as cold as ice, His claws that can rip through steel. The cold blooded killer that lies in wait. The cold blooded killer that has iron claws. He'll take you if you step out of line.
I pause for effect, But there's no need. The neighbor's kids Won't horse around anymore.
Clouds and puffs of air Meandering through the sky Making crazy pictures To be transformed by our eyes. Giving rain an shade All around the Earth Then away they slowly fade To come back in a constant rebirth.
He's Climbing In Your Windows Snatchin' yo' pets up Tryin to sell em so you need to Hide yo' cats Hide yo' dogs Hide yo' fish Hide yo' birds! And whatever other kinda pet you have. ___
Double rainbow, all the way Cross the sky!!! Yeah, yeah.... I'm so high! I walked up this whole mountain just to see some light! Yeah, yeah.... I'm so high!
