Haha, I bet I sound like a total dork, making a thread about Light Sabers. Anyways I'm watching the Star-Wars marathon, and I'm seeing all kinds of lightsabers, Green, Blue, Purple, Red. And I wanted to clarify what the colors meant. Like Red is bad, right? And everything else is good? And why is there only one guy with a purple one? Please elaborate, because I'm watching this and I want to make sure that I at least understand the Light Saber concept.

Purple was actually ONLY used by Mace Windu in the movies, and it resulted from Samuel L. Jackson specifically requesting that his lightsaber be a completely unique color. No one else has purple.
Posting in this thread makes me feel nerdy. Anyways yes egotistical Samuel L. Jackson gets the only purple lightsaber, but I'm better so if I would have applied, I would have gotten the part. And the Purple Light saber se I can be just as egotistical, I got the part!!
What does purple mean. I watched episode three like last week with my cousin because it is the best one and Mace Window or someone like that had a purple one. What does that mean?
Hey, since the colour of the light of the saber is normal light colour, why couldn't one make a ultra violet or infra red saber? I mean the blade would be invisible, this is quite an advantage, is it?
