well, I'm torn between the United States of America, and the United Kingdom, although being British myself, I'm starting to think America, as they have some of the best military technology in the world, yet, the UK have the SAS, who are, statistically, the best military fighting force in the world.
The Unites States would win. Although we do not have sheer numbers like China or India (Potential Enemies) We do have the best technology of any military and we have enough nuclear weapons to destroy any country totally. We also have strong allies like the UK, Germany, Israel, etc. Our one problem is Obama because he is somewhat of a coward and would hesitate to use nuclear force first.

I shudder to think of a day if China decides to declare war on the US because we can't afford to stick to a repayment schedule? Then everything would truly be Made in China.

China really would not be able to stand up to the U.S, for one thing there population is heavily concentrated on their Eastern Seaboard so 30-40 Nuclear bombs could severely cripple their population thus making an invasion force harder to render. Of course they would attempt to bomb cities like New York, DC, Baltimore, Boston, we have a strong Airforce compared to China so it would be hard for them to bomb the East coast. The bombing would last for 9-10 days, if even that and I would suspect that any human that entered the country of China would die instantly from radiation. I'm making educated guesses here based on known US Military strength numbers. There's always an X-Factor to this kind of thing and when it comes to Nuclear war, which WW3 would doubtlessly be, well, we've never seen one so who knows what would happen. Anyways I would say that the US would probabally defeat China, just sayin'.

They wouldn't have to. All they would have to do is send about a 1/4 of their population over and have them all surrender. Any country taking an influx of that many people even if they are prisoners would be enough to cripple it.
Well considering the U.S accounts for more than 40% of total military expenditure worldwide compared to Chinas 6.6% and Russia's 3.5% I'd say U.S. Even more so when the F-35s go into major production.
America would win of course. What other country has the power we have or the numbers other than China. I am not worried about China to much though because they have no way of reaching the US. This all changes though if nuclear weapons get involved but even then we will win.

True it would be pretty bad to have a war with China but I still think USA would win because they don't have a way to get here.
