You live under the rules of a God you cannot see nor can you speak directly to Him. He rules over you and oppresses you - you make your choices out of fear for the consequences He will lay upon you.

Muslims do not have priest like figures - we do talk directly to God.

1.
the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner.
2.
an act or instance of oppressing.
3.
the state of being oppressed.
4.
the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, anxiety, etc.

1)No cruel or unjust manners here.
2)no oppression.
3)no opression.
4)I am not mentally or physically burdend from religion.

1. Does He answer you back? Or ever perform a miracle just for you? What's the point of a Mosque if you talk directly to Dog?
2. You are mentally burdened with the idea that if you don't do as your silly deity asks you then you'll go straight to Hell.

Yes, many times God will send a sign...just for you.

The point of a mesjid is that we are gathering there to pray (which we get blessings for doing).

But it is not a burden, because we also believe that if we do what he asks, we get paradise! And we don't believe that we go straight to hell, God is merciful and we can repent.

Now I remember why I can't stand religious nutjobs - you're all the same.

I am not a nutjob! Ok, I'll admit that sounded kinda 'zen', but whatever!
You are the same too... you want everyone to belive in your religion (yes, atheism is a religion - a religion of not believing in religion).

Atheism is a lack of religion! You don't call someone who never plays golf a golfer1 Anyway, I want people to see facts and not fiction - I don't care if they become Atheist I just want them to look at their beliefs and look at the scientific explanations for things they pin on Deities and consider the possibilities.

Atheism is a religion, you convert in and out of it.

Thank you for worrying about the world. Please take a look at your beliefs and question them too.

Atheism is not a religion, here is the definition of religion. Atheist do not have a set of believes, they lack a set of beliefs.

My "beliefs" are called science. Every day people look into them with the intent on questioning them and finding new things. If it is out of date, then someone updates it. Science never stops changing.

Science is constantly Evolving and changing the boundaries and parameters. Religion doesn't change so quickly - hundreds of years could pass and only a few small and begrudging shifts could happen. Once again, Atheism isn't a religion - everyone Is born an Atheist and some choose to become religious later.

Good, you look into it too.

I beg to differ. I think that considering alot of people are born into a family with a set religion, and growing up they do not get to choose what they are learning, people are born into religion and later disbelieve.

He means when you come out of the womb your an atheist. Atheism is simply the default point. You are not born believing Zeus, Allah, or any other deity.

Actually no, its the truth... If you were able, you could take a newborn child and put him in a secluded environment with no signs of any religion. He would remain an atheist or make a religion up himself, since he is not born with one.
