It's July, and you know what that means: NFL training camp. It's time for the World Cup passion to subside, and the NFL to once again take over the interests of stateside sports fans. So tell me: What are your predictions for the upcoming season, and who are your ultimate sleepers and busts? What is your favorite training camp headline? And, in light of the LeBron situation that has finally ended, who do you think is being the biggest drama queen (i.e. Albert Haynesworth, Brett Favre), or is being screwed by his franchise (i.e. Vincent Jackson, Tom brady)?

Kyle Orton will be the starter. Hes pretty good and better than Matt Cassel. lol

But isn't that kid of obvious?

Has anybody notice that last year, the Steelers won most of the good teams but lost to most bad teams?

A comedian once compared soccer to WW2: speed, tactic, movement are the key of it.
He compared rugby to WW1: the only matter it cares is earth, earned with brawn and sweat.
I wonder where american football fits in.

Yeah, but notice that the Chargers always start off 0-2 and if they didn't htey could go undeafeated.
Also if they beat the Jets would the Jets be this over rated?

Yes, the Chargers could prove to be an unstoppable force in the regular season if they can avoid their slow start. And I do think that the Jets are overrated, on offense and defense. No offense (slight pun), but Mark Sanchez is a sophomore quarterback, and he didn't impress to much last year. LT is a touchdown machine no matter how old he is, but with Shonn Greene bearing the brunt of the load, will he continue his streak of 9 consecutive seasons with 10+ touchdowns? The defense - Cromartie is a one-year wonder who can't keep it in his pants, and he got burned many times last year by faster wide receivers - one of whom was Brando Marshall, who is still one of Cromartie's division rivals now that he is in Miami.

FryLock, rookie QB's generally have tough seasons. It happened to Manning, it happened to Stafford, and it happened to Sanchez. Cromartie vowed to work incredibly hard and I know he'll do well with Rex Ryan as his coach. Revis is going to cover Brandon Marshall but I think with Marshall's size, Revis won't play big games against the Dolphins. So here's what I think:

Call it biased, but I think the Jets are underrated. I would say that as a Jets fan because we share a stadium with the Giants who have a larger fan-base, and their fans are pretty obnoxious as well, they always say the Jets are bad when they're actually not. Throughout the playoffs, the Bengals, the Chargers, and the Colts were given "the edge" in each game, and we beat 2 of the 3. To be completely honest, there are 2 or 3 teams that I think are overrated. The Ravens, first of all, because they think they're going to do well because they have a receiver who got arrested for running over someone (Stallworth) and an overrated receiver who had only 4 TD's last year (Boldin). Their defense is ok though. Then there's the Dolphins, whose fans are so uneducated they might be stupider than Eagles fans. They think that because they have Marshall, they're going to win a Super Bowl. Then there's the Colts, who, like I said, will be lucky to stay in Indianapolis after Manning and Dwight Freeney retire.

Also, for the people who are still saying that Football is not properly named and soccer is better, get over it. Seriously, you're all acting like babies.

The Jets did impress me with their defense. And running too.

Their screens are pretty good as well. The deep passes may need some work.

And the Giants, I don't know what happened to them, they were good at first, in the beginning of the season. But then, they suddenly dropped.

Also, for the people who are still saying that Football is not properly named and soccer is better, get over it. Seriously, you're all acting like babies.

I agree. If you complain, I mean it doesn't really change anything...

I think Jay Cutler will have a MUCH better year with the Bears this year. I still don't think that the Bears have enough good wide recievers this year so they won't make the players. But they will have a better year.

I'm banking on him to do the same as last. Wow a friend of mine by saying pick Jay in Fanasty for 28 touchdowns is better than his 27 interceptions.
Also pauler would you be willing to be a chargers fan if Jets don't do as you say they will?

No way, that would be called being a "front-runner" and also I hate the Chargers, but I only like Philip Rivers because he's good and he's a sh*t talker, maybe if he came to the Jets he would fit well with Rex Ryan. So yeah, I wouldn't want to change what team I like if the Jets do bad. I did that once, only because the Giants were playing division rivals in the Super Bowl, but then I became a Jets fan again after that, because I wanted the Patriots to lose.

Front-Runners are the dumbest people in the world. There was this one kid on facebook who's a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and he was writing statuses about them from the first 3 games, but then after that he started writing "Yeah COLTS" and stuff like that. Those kinds of people make me so pissed. They like the teams who have the best records (usually Colts) and they can't name anyone on the team but the QB.

Bolden was injured most of the year and his rookie year he had 101 catches. Ravens D has been in top 10 or 5 for many years.
Also every team thinks theyare gonna win the super bowl. Best fans are the Raider fans for still coming to games.

Whys Rex Ryan so good, what was he before last year.

Rex was with the Raven's defense since like 1999 until the end of the 2008 season. I think he was the DC for them from 2004-2008.
Best fans are the Raider fans for still coming to games.

And Detroit Lions fans for still going to the games even during the 2008 season

Eli Manning is a bad QB who's overrated because his brother is God

I'll drink to that. However, what's a quarterback without someone to catch the ball and send it home? The reason why the Colts are doing so well is (not only because of Peyton) because they are coordinated.

I think Eli is not that bad of a QB at all. in fact he is a pretty good one... the reason why he dosnt look as good(saying the opposite of you guys) is that his brother is such an amazing QB... i do agree that it isnt just the QB they need to be well coordinated and be skillfull not to mention having an O line that protects
