This topic is based upon your personal opinion on whether abortion is wrong or right. I personally believe that it is wrong, and have many reasons for it. You may challenge me if you wish, but please make sense!
I'm pretty sure that if it is for medical or scientific use it is not considered obscene. If it's for education's sake then I think it's important to see things that may make us uncomfortable. That way, we truly know the dangers of "backstreet" abortions.
abortion isn't a bad thing because what if you were a young teenage girl who was ***** which led to pregnancy? and what if the child was born either deformed or retarded? what if that child lived in a world of misery because no one not even its parents wanted him or her? having abortion illegalised would cause more hurt than help. in response to crimsonrose's first comment, you are extremely narrow minded.If i was aborted how would i miss life in he first place? also a percentage of your so important tax dollars go towards funding government orphanages. more than half of those unloved children were dumped there by parents too selfish to have an abortion.
Even if the girl didn't want the baby she could just give it to child care and give him/her a chance to live.
I feel we can expand on this. If the mother feels that she doesn't want the baby, whether from rape or from feeling that she can't/won't take care of it, then there should be options to help her get through the birthing process so it will be as painless as possible.
First they are raped but now they have to give birth to the child? That's two instances of long, thorough pain! The mothers should be given special benefits, such as free anesthetic to have pain-free labor, plus the free trip to the hospital and no cost of the operation. This should be given only to those that were forced to bear a child.
