The Modern Church of Satan is an independent organization outside of the original Church of Satan formed by Anton LaVey. They claim to be a Satanic organization that is set up and able to survive in the "modern" world. What do you think of them, and if you are a Satanist (whether "LaVeyan", "Spiritual", or anything else) how do you think this could affect other Satanic organizations?

Well, "Bruh", you should check out what the word "Satan" means in the original Hebrew. You should also really do some looking that handy dandy bible of yours to really see what is said about this so-called Satan.
So whatever it is that you think, you're just wrong. And even if Satan was portrayed how you're picturing him, having his name in something in no way implies the worship of him.
My suggestion: calm down, and stop trolling for today. You're just making yourself look... well... not great.

All i have to say is diz: WHen the time comes when there no law are order i wonder how far science will take u when the barrel of the gun or the edge of the sword is pointed at u. I rather know and have something to believe in than nothing to know a life is beyond dis one tells me that i dont have to b the most sucessful or the riches because in the end rather god is real or not i know that i live a life of morals. Atleast let me say god bless all and live a nice life bruh.

That statement is so blatantly ignorant and racist. A "nigga" is a derogative term for a black person, not a "white azz". I don't see why you African Americans have to use it against us. Besides, that...that is just...gah! I mean, everything can be proven by science. It's just that we haven't done it yet. Science does not degrade the community. It gives us technology, like the computer and internet that you're using right now, and the lightbulb, and the house.

And atheists live lifes of morals, just like Christians. Okay? I don't like how all theists tend to imply that somehow theists and only theists have morals. Atheists obey morals just as much as theists, and they do it without the threat of burning in an abyss for all eternity. So, which person do you think is better? The person who needs to be threatened with eternal torture in order to be beneficial, or the person who is beneficial of their own volition.

Come on guys what are you doing to my thread? On topic please? What i was originally planning for discussion was this specific organization. Should they call themselves the "Modern Church of Satan" when there is an original Church of Satan still running? As an Atheist that takes some policies from the original Church of Satan, I don't like it because it may fool some to believe they are the real legitimate organization (and honestly, their site is kind of cheesy).
