The most realistic and logical assumption is that it houses DARPA labs.

DARPA = Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency

It's an agency which is part of the Department of Defense that is committed to developing new and radical technology to assist the DoD and, as of the past 3 years or so, NASA as well. This would explain the secrecy, the lack of overt military operations in the area despite the security status, the lack of information, and the rumors of sightings of strange vehicles and such in the area.

We have a thread at the UFO Research Network all about Area 51. I'm not at all convinced it holds aliens for the sole purpose that everyone knows about it. Yes there is alot of secrecy around it, but alot of military areas do.

I mean very few people go on about White Sands Test Facility or Dugway Proving Ground which have alot of secrecy too.

Area 51 is just a weapons testing facility. Thats where they used to test nukes, a couple people tried sueing a51 cause of the unknown burned chemicals in the air......

Bluedevil you are getting confused with the Nevada Test Site (now the Nevada National Security Site). Area 51 never tested nukes.

i highly doubt that there are aliens in Area 51. My guess is that top secret technologies are tested there, some of which might be mistaken fir UFOs.

Well we can't really say because basiclly nobody on Armorgames knows. Area 51 Is a top Secret Base and has 24/7 Servillance the rumor is that there is a Alien but we will never know unless we join the U.S Army and get assinged there but still we won;t be able to tell anyone or we will get killed.
