I don't really care that it's disrespectful or offends Muslims. Book burning is still well linked with the destruction of information and the suppression of knowledge. Even though in this particular case it's more on a symbolic level. Further more the threat was a response to the mosque building, an attempt to emotionally black male a group out of there freedom. It's a shame to see someone use there freedom in such a counter intuitive manner. As such I'm glad the guy chickened out of it.

I think it's horrible to burn ANY book. I think it's worse to kill people because someone else burned the book.
The man who wanted to burn the Koran is an idiot. The Muslim's who are threatening to kill Americans are mother fuckers. Pardon my French, but the government can't stop anyone from burning the Koran. If Obama or the government tries to make a law preventing people from burning a book (which is low), then I... I can't even imagine.
