If you know what I'm talking about, I hope you agree with me that he is a complete moron. He is putting our troops over in Afghanistan at risk, by making 'moderate' muslims 'extreme' muslims. Post your ideas on this topic here:
I think the actual solution wouldve been people not making a big deal about it because if people werent interested in this stuff there wouldnt be a problem cuz no on wouldv cared. people like that thrive on exposure and without it it wouldve been like buring it in the backyard as a symbol instead of a public condemnation. by ignoring him u respect his right to free speech but he doesnt get anything acomplished.
What I do not understand is this man burns the koran and gets put in jail, Muslims burn poppys and say our soilders can burn in hell and we stand by and do nothing only arresting 2 for assault?!

You keep saying it like all Muslims supported the act of those few Poppy burners - do you think all Christians supported the actions of guy that blew up a planned parenthood clinic in the name of God? Stop being so up yourself and realize that 99.99% of Muslims are peaceful and the vast majority oppose the actions of the few that harm others.
well what i think on this is. yes hes made at the extremist but alot of people are. but by burning it isn't a verd good idea because it will annoy the 99% of muslims who aren't extremist which is wrong they have did nothing.
and with that they would of reacted and who knows what would of happened but probly start another war of some sort and they don't need that.

I wouldn't say its 0.01%.. Especially not out of the middle east. Id bet most Muslims are pretty neutral about the extremists, not supportive but don't really hate them. Like in every society, most people are standbyers.

I agree with Goblin. Extremists have more support in the middle East. Even in the West I'd say that it's more than 0.01% although it is the vast minority.

I also feel offended if the Bible, Tora and Quran promote hatred of homosexuals, murder, etc. But who cares? You don't have the right not to be offended.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Are you saying that those 99% of peaceful Muslims would start a war because of the burning? That doesn't make sense to me...

i mean if we did the peaceful ones wouldn't be very happy nad start war not all of them but quite a few. they would have more of a reason to hate them for being aganist their relgion. anyone who is peaceful can be set of by somehting making them violent.
So you're really saying that the peaceful Muslims would start a war because of that? Isn't that a bit ironic? If they would start a war just because of the burning of a book then they surely aren't peaceful! Then they are just some fundamentalist lunatics.
well that's what religion does to people, anyone disrespecting it and who knows how people would react.
ok maybe they not that peaceful but most probaly won't do anything but it will encourage more to be extreme because the eteremist would get more people by saying stuff and them believe for what would of happened.
lets just say it didn't happen so it doesn't matter now.
I think this is totaly uncalled for as this offends many people not just the extremists, but you've got to remember one of his loved ones might have died in 9/11.
