Okay but what are the reasons for this? I have faith in our judicial system and I believe that most people who go to prison probably should have gone to prison. So why are there so many minorities in our prisons.

so the reason i'm upper middle class is cause i'm white but the reason i'm not rich is cause i'm also half mexican?
There are not enough racists in America to make that big a difference and aren't the lawers supposed to make sure biased people don't get on the jury.
Subconscious racism them. I'll freely admit that I would be more likely to convict someone who looked lower class of a crime than I would be someone who looked upper class. This hold true for a large amount of people. This isn't something that you may even realize is happening but it does happen.
