I have always thought it strange that black people can have their own television chanels but if a white person was to do that I imagine people would be angry.
It's gotten to the point where people have been racist toward white people, with no consequences however the other way around is the end of the world.
The song is actually by Avenue Q, but some youtube user set it to Maple Story graphics. Unfortunately it's about the funniest and most fitting version to the song, although the recording of them performing live is good to.
Racism is a terrible thing, and is perhaps one of the greatest hindrances to human progress. Unfortunately it is quite insidious and people often fall into it without realising.
Almost all races have some grudge against others for some reason or another, whether there is truth to it or not - depends really. If race A thinks that race B are 'barbarians' that may hold some truth because race B could of eaten the hearts of the fallen warriors of race A - part of their cultural tradition. However, if race A thinks race B are 'barbarians' when race B merely conducts certain traditions or religious beliefs in a different way to race A then that really has no truth to it.
Expected stereotypes often do have some truth to them but they aren't necessarily stereotypes because they're true. There have been studies (famous ones) that show pretty strongly that people will mindlessly fall into expected behavior very quickly. You start acting how others think you should act. So if a stereotype exist and a person grows up hearing that they are a certain way they are far more likely to actually become the stereotype.
One thing that really nags at me (and yes I am going to be hypocritical here) is that A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE FRICKIN CLUELESS ABOUT GOVERNMENT WENT AND VOTED FOR OBAMA JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. /ragetyping. Democrats taking away rights.... BLARGH. //ragetyping. RACISM. Define- hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. STEREOTYPES- to give a fixed form to. --to characterize or regard as a stereotype: The actor has been stereotyped as a villain. Two different things.
People that post after this SHOULD Of read these definitions. Post wisely!
I agree it is wrong to hate someone because of their skin color. but if you dislike a black person because they act like a stereotypical black person are you racist?
depending on what your view of 'stereotypical' is. If it is simalr to my view, then no you are not 'racist', and it also depends on to what extent you are disliking them.
Is there any evidence that many stereotypes regarding people of different races could be true?
terms like 'chinks','wetbacks', 'riceeaters' and 'crackers' do have a little bit of truth to them, but it depends on where and how it is being used.
Yes, gang shootings and overall whiny black people, is it really that hard to figure out?
well as far as Americans, does anyone honestly realize how poorly Black people were treated up into the 1960's Civil Rights Movement? honestly, i really can't blame them if they can't get an equal job or pay to a white man. you earn less, go to a bad neighborhood, join a gang, whatever, but here's what i gotta say: Sure, it can be their choice on how they act and talk, but discrimination has played a part in it too.
A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE FRICKIN CLUELESS ABOUT GOVERNMENT WENT AND VOTED FOR OBAMA JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK.
Can you really condemn blacks for this? For older generations it was the day they had been waiting for since they were children. Black representation in the highest office of the land. For younger blacks, being brought up with tales of segregation from their parents, and encountering very real, but less overt discrimination until about the mid 90s it was also a landmark.
To be angry at blacks for wanting a black president is like being angry for people wanting their favourite football team to win. Why shouldn't they vote for someone they can identify with, albeit on a superficial level?
In any case, there are just as many ignorant white Americans who know nothing about government and yet vote for superficial reasons too, and have been doing so for generations.

I have to be negetive and say... does it make a difference. I mean, look who would have got in otherwise. The whole thing stinks, always has.
