An eternity of anything sounds torturous to me... So all I can do is hope that where we go is as dynamic as this place is. Unless of coarse we stay (reincarnation) that'd be alright too. [Boredom and drudgery are evil]
Yep, eternity can only doom you just imagine what happens if you start going crazy, you'll spend eternity being not yourself anymore.. though I imagine you'll be already that much of a mindless cattle that it won't bugger you anymore.
I like to imagine how it would be if it was possible to keep your brain and make it possible for you to see and talk etc, just much like Dr. Brackman in the Supreme Commander games if you know it. Or reconstruct a cybernetic body in which you can implant your nervous system and would link to the nerves. That would keep your conscience alive while making you potentially immortal (as long as there's also a way to prevent your brain from degenerating and dieing).
When we die I think we are born again with another face, another name, totally another life, another genetics, another gender, and we don't remember anything in our previous life, we will also think that there is still 1 life.
Nice thought but it wouldn't work. Considering the increasing number of people on the planet right now (roughly 7 billion) - there would need to be at least 7 billion different 'souls' to accommodate this fact. Considering that there has never been anywhere close to 7 billion people on the planet before - your cycle of birth and rebirth is broken.
Hahi is correct, there. If you want to have the most objective information on death and dying, you need to turn to science. Everything beyond that point is unknown to us. We have no real proof of an afterlife. Only speculation and ideas based on faith.
people may have diferent beliefs, but i believe that my body will remain on earth but my soul or spiritual body will go to heaven if i believe in Gods word and follow it

The existence of the soul is just another assertion just like an afterlife, with no proof backing up that it does exists. The problem with following Gods word is it's contradictory. So what you really end up following are just the things you want to.
I think Mage is an Atheist like me - therefore, unless he's part of one of the Atheistic sects of Buddhism, he probably doesn't believe in any form of after life.
What do you think will happen when we die MageGreyWolf? Go to heaven or hell? Be an animal? Be an angel or ghost?
The bio-electric functions of my body will cease, the cells in my body will begin to break down in mass and my body will be disposed of in what ever cheap method the law allows.
