Do we continue life in HEAVEN for EVER and what would we do if that happened?

OR do we continue live in HELL for EVER suffering because we all sinned?

This is probably the hardest question in the world to answer but I want to know what you think will happen to us?

Okay so the reason we have a universe could possibly be because of God who made the Big Bang and perpisoly made a planet that was lucky enough to have a stable atmosphere. So there is a God and that means he must have a heaven for everyone just what do you do think of ideas!

In it's basic form this is just saying "Stuff exists so God must exist."

I was told if you cut off your arm or lose a part of your brain, it's still just the same only higher up. The brain is just the first relay. You have the soul to the brain relay and the brain to the body relay. Whenever you lose a part of your brain the soul isn't affected your still the same. You just can't make your brain behave the way the soul wants, just like the brain can't make the body behave the way it wants if you lost your arm.

Of course the brain is capable of exceptional plasticity, for example, if you lose a finger or don't use a finger, the areas responsible for the other fingers are spreading over the former area for the now useless finger; or you surely know that blind persons have an extraordinary good sense of hearing. But I never said that damage to any brain area can lead to personality changes, only some specific areas. You may want to have a look at Phineas Gage's case. The changes weren't as dramatic as it may sound at first, but they were probably still there. Or another example, emotions; the amygdala is the center for emotions. I guess if you lose that, you may lose emotional abilities; you could possibly not be able to show compassion anymore, just for example. And isn't a person without compassion rather evil....?

even the most moral of men can turn evil.

I would say "turn amoral" is a bit more fair.

Must the answer be either? As an atheist, I believe that people's life just drift off in a dream of eternal sleep. Sounds stupid? So do most bible stories.

Sleep denotes some brain function where non exists.

The only place you go after death is six feet under.

Well if there is nothing after death you won't even have thing. Think of how it was before you were born, that's how you will likely be after you die.

So you are saying that after death you will just get born again but have no memory of any thing in the past. That is pretty cool and interresting.

What about heaven hell? Does it exist?

There's a ton of evidence that shows at animals atleast exists, how do you assign probability to turning into an entity which existence we have no evidence for? Atleast animals exists.
I don't believe in reincarnation though, theres more evidence of people dieing and staying dead, not sure though...

Yeah, but do you see animals climbing out of graves where human bodies once were?

Considering how reincarnation is claimed to work this is face palm worthy.

As for which has more likely hood both require the presumption of something that is unproven to exist, so neither has more credibility.

Angels and sometimes ghosts are considered to not affect any of the senses, except in rare cases, most recorded yet not believed.

Without empirical evidence of their existence, why does one claim they exist? Divine inspiration?

the chances of changing into an angel or ghost after you die is greater than turning into an animal in this case

How can you say there is any chance for either way?

That's why many religions, like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and whatever else is out there rely on faith rather than physical evidence.

But this is their flaw - without empirical evidence, how can you support anything? You can't prove it - you can only convince yourself you believe it through ... faith.

Personnaly i think the idea of life after death comes from the fact that we can't imagine not existing, i mean what happens after we die? to me that's the most scary part of death, the unknown.
From a scientific point of view, if we weigh a human body befor it dies and afterwards will there be any changes in the weigh?
If so we can affirm with certitud that something changed therefore there might be a soul that leaves our bodies. I guess such experiments where never conducted.

....air escapes the lungs after death... therefore there is a weight change. you'll have to factor that in... i'm not sure that if there is a soul that it would be a physical thing.

you might could think of it as similar to the matrix... the soul is the entity that is hooked into the matrix... and life is just the existence whilst in the matrix. not sure we'll ever know.... if its as i've proposed then could you even test that? we may just be holograms (O_o)
