All of these would require some sort of dual existence, something we have no evidence for. So that already put's these as possible as anything else we have no evidence for, including heaven and hell. At least c would require that this second existence duplicate the physical functions of the brain and eyes, which would suggest that we really don't need these physical features to be able to see and well, process any information. Yet if we remove our eyes we can't see. d does not require anything extra. e dreams are the result of brain activity, something we don't have when dead.
Not really, but reading Dante's Divine Comedy (made up of Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso, and made into one book), would help a bit. I do warn you, it uses very archaic language and is hard for most to read.
Old Dante probably didn't know what he had released.. belief in purgatory was probably the source of this abject commerce of absolution letters, or however they're called.. pieces of paper that can be acquired through donations to the church, only to enrich the avid cleric's purse, in return of a promise to shorten a dear person's time in purgatory (which is weird enough since this means going against god's judgement).

To respond to the part I can understand of thing, sleeping indicates brain function which we don't have when dead. We can't say anyone goes to heaven without first proving there is something that leaves the body and that there is such a place to begin with.
Well,after I die my family will probably burn my body into carbon and then (If they got money) they will send my dust into the space xD!(at least what i want)
Sorry the double post* What i Said before was about my body,but about my soul,i believe that after the death we go to Heaven and get prepared for our reincarnation,or,if you have great experience of life (like been alive for many times,poor,rich or medium(LOL) u just sit and relax watching the people in the world and helping them,like an angel.
