Do we continue life in HEAVEN for EVER and what would we do if that happened?

OR do we continue live in HELL for EVER suffering because we all sinned?

This is probably the hardest question in the world to answer but I want to know what you think will happen to us?

We don't all go to the same place. It is my belief that Heaven is eternal, and Hell is temporary. When people first die, they simply decay, and remain in a sort of sleep without dreams. Then at the Second Coming, the good will be resurrected (if they are dead) and brought to Heaven. The evil will be resurrected, and they will be trapped on Earth with Satan and his demons. Then, Earth will become Hell. (Hell does not exist in the core of the Earth or something like that.) Satan, his demons, and the evil will burn for a just time according to the sins that they performed in their lifetimes. Then, they will simply be nonexistant. Then God will destroy Earth/Hell and create a second Earth, which becomes the new Heaven, and the good will live on the New Earth.

Where are you getting all this from?

Yes, the dead will be resurrected. The good would have their bodies recreated into a perfect form (no physical imperfections).

So basically they won't be human then?

Now for the evil, they will receive the bodily form that they had when they died.

That would make them dead. Seriously your really requiring magic that break the laws of physics on numerous points here.

In fact, for them, Heaven would be Hell. Now, they have to be punished.

Then why not just let them in? Doesn't seem like this was thought out to well.

Now, in Heaven, there will be no marriage or reproduction. If there was reproduction, the children could not become evil. There is no tempter. Sin is gone for eternity. It can't exist any more. The entire universe witnessed the results of sin.

Again indicating these "good" people won't actually be human. Nor would they be who they once were.

There is no tempter

Wait... You mean I won't feel any sexual desire what so ever?? Noooooo that's like hell.

It is my belief that Heaven is eternal, and Hell is temporary.

Sounds more reasonable.

evil

Good

Tell me, how does god base it's ideas on good and evil?

Where are you getting all this from

Maybe it's just his own belief? He probably takes the bible as his base-ideas and then change it to suit his ideas. Then again, maybe someone else did it before and he is just following.

Well if you have accepted Christ, and believe in him you go to heaven. If you don't believe him you go to hell.

The Bible, and the writings of my religion's prophetess, Ellen G. White.

So basically they won't be human then?

No, they will be human, but they won't have any birth defects, freckles, scars, etc.

That would make them dead. Seriously your really requiring magic that break the laws of physics on numerous points here.

Sorry, it's the weekend, so I'm not doing a good job of explaining everything... I mean, they will have their regular human forms. They will be resurrected with injuries, scars, birth defects, etc.

Then why not just let them in? Doesn't seem like this was thought out to well.

Because that would be eternal Hell. God distributes justice according to how evil a person was. If everyone is punished forever, it isn't justice.

Again indicating these "good" people won't actually be human. Nor would they be who they once were.

Actually, yes, they will be humans. They will just lack reproductive systems, and probably the rectum. They will digest every part of food, so there will be no defecation or urination. As for "who they once were", could you please explain?

Wait... You mean I won't feel any sexual desire what so ever?? Noooooo that's like hell.

Lol.

Tell me, how does god base it's ideas on good and evil?

Simple. Good = those who follow His laws. Evil = those who disregard His laws.

He probably takes the bible as his base-ideas and then change it to suit his ideas.

What? I assure you, I don't twist the Bible to fit what I want to believe.

Oh? My bad. Then I guess younger following someone that did twist it, because I am pretty sure it doesn't say that in the bible, but then again, I may be wrong.

Simple. Good = those who follow His laws. Evil = those who disregard His laws.

I knew you would say that. And I guess your god's rules are from the bible? The same twisted rules? In the 10 commandments only 2 are truly important. Don't kill and don't steal. The rest isn't bad.

They will digest every part of food, so there will be no defecation or urination.

So the whole digestive system is changed? Isn't that a major change in the human biology?

Remember, I am taking from both the Bible, and my religion's prophetess.

And I guess your god's rules are from the bible?

Yes.

The same twisted rules?

I beg your pardon?

In the 10 commandments only 2 are truly important. Don't kill and don't steal. The rest isn't bad.

Right, so it's ok to worship a nonexistant deity, just throw around God's name because it sounds nice, refuse to give one single day a week to God? I shouldn't respect my parents? And I guess you don't mind if I sleep with your wife, constantly lie to you, and envy you?

So the whole digestive system is changed? Isn't that a major change in the human biology?

Actually, the digestive system will probably just end at the stomach or intestines. Nothing is being rearranged or added.

I beg your pardon?

Nope

just throw around God's name because it sounds nice,

Sure, doesn't hurt anyone.

so it's ok to worship a nonexistant deity

Hmm...but aren't you doing it right now? I mean your god has as much proof of it's existence then the invisible pink unicorn.

refuse to give one single day a week to God?

Sounds like 520 days in ten years so...1.4years every 10years. Sounds like a lot I could accomplish.

I shouldn't respect my parents?

The opposite of must isn't shouldn't. It doesn't mean you shouldn't, but it means that you don't have to. What if your parents are abusive?

And I guess you don't mind if I sleep with your wife,

If that's her choice then so be it. Of course I would be sad, but not mad. She has the choice of doing what she wants with her body

constantly lie to you

'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

It didn't say constantly, it says never. Not a single lie.

and envy you?

Envy is a natural emotion and I wouldn't mind.

What part of the bloody book are you using? Specific verses please.

Right, so it's ok to worship a nonexistant deity, just throw around God's name because it sounds nice, refuse to give one single day a week to God?

Your worshiping a nonexistant deity, I personally say "Oh my god" all the time as well as the rest of the world, and killing someone for collecting sticks on the Sabbath is not O.K., as happened in the Bible...

I shouldn't respect my parents?

All well in good. But the Bible says to stone you if you don't, which is again not O.K.

And I guess you don't mind if I sleep with your wife, constantly lie to you, and envy you?

Envy is fine, though the other two would get annoying if I had a wife. Oh, and then I would have to stone my wife to, by your Bible, for sleeping with you.

That makes your God sound very petty.

The Bible, and the writings of my religion's prophetess, Ellen G. White.

unfortunately what you had to say doesn't fit what the Bible claims.
Reading what is said on wiki I'm finding this a bit funny.

"Her supporters believe she had the spiritual gift of prophecy as outlined in Revelation 19:10. Her Conflict of the Ages series of writings endeavor to showcase the hand of God in Biblical and Christian church history. This cosmic conflict, referred to as the "Great Controversy theme", is foundational to the development of Seventh-day Adventist theology. "

First of all this makes it sound about on par with Scientology or Mormonism.

"Adventists believe in the infallibility of Scripture and teach that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ."

If this is your religion what you believe would seem to go against this statement.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellen_G._White
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventh-day_Adventist_theology

No, they will be human, but they won't have any birth defects, freckles, scars, etc.

Even without any of these things the human form could not be regarded as perfect.

Sorry, it's the weekend, so I'm not doing a good job of explaining everything... I mean, they will have their regular human forms. They will be resurrected with injuries, scars, birth defects, etc.

Considering it's such things are what would have led them to dying in the first place it doesn't seem they wouldn't last very long in such a state.

Because that would be eternal Hell.

So once your there your forced to stay?

Actually, yes, they will be humans. They will just lack reproductive systems, and probably the rectum. They will digest every part of food, so there will be no defecation or urination. As for "who they once were", could you please explain?

That doesn't sound very human to me. What is often regarded as sin is just basic human nature, such as having lustful feelings towards another person. Remove these qualities and you fundamentally alter who that person is. If I stopped enjoying sexual things, violent video games, lost my feelings of grief over events in my life, I would stop being who I am.
Further more if going to heaven does alter us in such a fundamental way then there is no point in even a temporary hell as God could simply change that persons very nature and desires.

Simple. Good = those who follow His laws. Evil = those who disregard His laws.

There are many of Gods laws that get disregarded even by followers.

What? I assure you, I don't twist the Bible to fit what I want to believe.

Considering the bible clearly states that Hell is not a temporary state it would seem you do. Actually in order to believe the bible at all you would have to given the number of contradictory passages.

Right, so it's ok to worship a nonexistant deity

I personally don't do it but your more then welcome to continue, just keep it out of any system I have to live by and don't beat it over my head.

just throw around God's name because it sounds nice,

First of considering God's name is Yahweh not God I'm not aware of anyone who does. But it seems pretty petty that God would care if you did.

refuse to give one single day a week to God?

Again seems pretty petty of God to require this. I mean really just how much ego stroking does this deity need anyway?

I shouldn't respect my parents?

Not if they don't deserve it.

And I guess you don't mind if I sleep with your wife,

I personally would mind, but there are those who don't. If all parties involved are fine with it I see nothing wrong.

constantly lie to you,

I find this one rather funny considering the amount of lies that come out of religion. Anyway I will go with what loloynage2 said.

and envy you?

Go right ahead.

I don't think torturing people would be what God wanted maybe the Devil but not God.

I have a new idea of what happens to us we go to another universe and live on that planet but your mind is erased and you start as a baby and live until you die then go to another universe.

So why would your god establish this system?

I have a new idea of what happens to us we go to another universe and live on that planet but your mind is erased and you start as a baby and live until you die then go to another universe.

A not-so new idea of reincarnation with an interesting twist. You are a deist, then?
