I personally am most skillful in mathematics, followed by reading and writing.
already read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. 1- Rodrick tells Greg's secret but it is misinterpreted so all the boys think he's cool. 2- Greg doesn't go to Spag Union because his wimpiness saves his dad from being embarrassed at a party. 3- Greg stops being friends with Rowley but makes up. Thar, did I spoil it enough?
Thanks now i can go to school tomarrow and get 8 points with only reading for 5 minutes. (that sounds like the 2nd one)
The lexile is from 0-2000. Says so on the wikipedia article. I used to be told that it went up to 1700, so I think there's a lot of misinformation there. Unless your school uses some special modified lexile scale or something.
Dun think so. And lemme just say, Wiki's not exactly reliable.
I doubt anything by Dickens would be 1350+. He doesn't exactly write in a difficult-to-comprehend way. Robinson Crusoe might be 1400 at the very most. Dunno about that one.
Hmm...think Captains Courageous could pass? I know classics have a higher lex than moderns.
go to http://www.wolframalpha.com/ it can solve anything it even shows the work on how to get there
No wolfram isn't magic. It's good for low level calculus but has almost nothing on Discrete Math problems and most of my questions are just paragraphs and I have to use intricate formula's with.
Sad face I'm starting on the question but inside I'm crying.

Dunno. Possibly.

It's more reliable than your source. Which is to say, nothing at all. Also, source wikipedia pulled the 0-2000 source is here. Paper published on the lexile framework.
Oh wait, the paper says that the lexile extends from 0-1800. Meh. like I said, a lot of misinformation. but every source I've come across so far puts the upper limit at at least 1700.
Nope that's a triple post and a whole sentence link to boot. Don't get fixed on lexile scores it's a flawed system anyway. So don't let it steer you too much.
Instead of studying lexile score you could be doing my math question in which I'm still struggling in.

My teacher. Lame, but that is what she told me, that 1500 is as high as it goes. =(

Your teacher sounds icky.
Meh, a lot of english teachers are real sticklers about lexile. Hey, if you're having trouble, just ask your teacher to help you find some. It can get annoying to try and find novels that are well-written even about 1300 or so.

She lowered my minimum to 1350 when it was originally 1500(see, I told you she was cool), and gave me the hint bout the classics. I wonder...d'you think Watership Do-no, wait, that's not realistic. Dammit. Would you say A Clockwork Orange is realistic fiction? I know it's futuristic a bit but even so.

Ah, okay. Hrm.
Clockwork Orange is realistic enough, I guess. Your teacher would probably allow it, because realistic fiction as defined is rare at such high lexile ranges.
If anyone is interested it's on top of page 2. The diabolic generating question.
Sorry, I can't. *is only an 8th grader*
I could probably solve the problem if I read up on calculus and such, but it would take me 45 minutes and I would probably be wrong.
On struggling with homework . . . not at the moment, no. All my teachers are pummeling us with tests this week (three down, two to go) so I haven't had much of any homework. I'm having a test on all the core academic functions and in French II, so no homework, thanlkfully.
