bassically in short. some painter decided to paint a political painting of jesus getting a blowjob from another man.
the state acccepted it into the museum and now everybody including children can see it.
im against it completley.
number 1: its pornography and its abuse to show that to a child number 2: its jesus getting a blowjob from a dude number 3: the artist is mental number 4: its jesus getting a blowjob from a dude
its like the whole mosque thing in new york. sure they have the right of the first amendmant, but with that right comes responsibility. its COMPLETLEY immoral.
sure hes trying to talk about like gay marriage and stuff but come on dude really?
ITS JESUS HAVING MO FUKIN JESUS GETTING A BLOWJOB FORM A DUDE AND ITS BEING DISPLAYED FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.
just because you have the right to do something doesnt mean you should. doing that to jesus is in a sense the equivolent of showing and image of Mohamed.
Jesus was a man and there is no proof that he was anything else, yes it may be a bit extreme but its religon that created a world that is insensitive to homosexuality so it's only fair that religon is used to create a world that is accepting of peoples differences.
Hmm... is it an art museum? Yep. Is a painting art? Yep.
Looks like it qualifies to me. However if I were the artist I would have painted Jesus getting fallatio from Muhammad while Yahweh looks on in approval. That way the Jews, Christians, and Muslims can all be offended together.
Seriously though, after watching the video and looking up some photos of the panels I really don't see how this is any more or less controversial than many other works of art depicting sex or nudity. It seems that the offense is that the man depicted is Jesus, not because of what is being done or the other content of the piece.
I have to agree with the video. How dare they depict Jesus in a sexual act instead of in a respectable way, such as being battered and bloody strung up dead on a cross.

Yeah, dang that professor of art at Stanford University for making a painting that touches on the all-too-delicate heartstrings of the 'oppressed' (although they're the majority) Christians... Oh, and I loved that Jesus is a woman and is getting eaten out, that's just great. And really it's not pornography because no nudity is actually shown. Unlike many infamous sculptures (Michaelangelo's "David" for example where the nudity is blatant)
I can see much from the picture but it just looks like a guy with his head in jesus lap maybe their is no sexual act? or maybe im wrong the jesus is getting blown.
Jesus is a woman
Looks like he offened the catholic church even more.
That's one thing I never quite got. Why is sex and nudity considered so bad by many Christians? I mean according to their own holy text the only reason we desire to cover our bodies is because of sin. Sex even if it doesn't result in pregnancy can strengthen bonds between couples that could result in a better relationship leading to "going forth and multiplying".
When you consider it you would think everyone's Sunday best would consist of a Bible and a smile. Showing a rejection of the feels they have brought on by sin. (why Sunday, on God's day off? How about Saturday instead?)
To stop sexual abuse of teenaged boys maybe the Catholic church should incorperate some sort of bar mitzvah to turn boys into men at younger ages, but would this turn preists to tweens?
I agree, but the church has been like this since it started and well these days laws just dont change over night, any way its interesting why people still continue to follow after all this crap that has been going on, most preists are fine just there a few that have created this sense that the Catholic church is full of pedofiles.
It's not so much that there is a sense that the Church is full of pedophiles but that the Church has, instead of exposing and punishing them, it harbors them and moves them to new Dioceses so they can avoid punishment. By and large I think this is the real issue, and the one that most concerns the public. We really don't see attendance dropping too much, because people going to Mass realize that the vast majority of priests aren't like that, but we do see a lot of objection to the handling of these issues, even by Catholics.
This is the way the church covers its bum, its wrong but there isnt much we can do, it just really annoys me how there is so much publication of preists doing the wrong thing but never any of them helping out in the community and ect the media tends to focus on the ngertive side of things but thats the media for you full of scare tatics.
