From what i heard the AK jams often and a lot of attachments won't work on the AK, so the M16 wins it. It can have attachments and has a long range. M16's can be jammed, but not as often as the AK. Also the AK has too much recoil which screws up accuracy so another factor for the M16.
M16 for the win. NOTE: I would choose it in real life because i don't play COD and i prefer using real life facts anyway.
the world didnt adapt from the AK-47's design. Its was the M16. When the M16 was made in the 60's it was the worlds door open to new mordern high tech guns. The M16 is one of the most accurate guns in the world, and you can hit a man between the eyes easy at 50 to 100 yards. It also feels better in your hands and against your shoulder. The sights are easy to adjust. And manouvering is easy well with the M16. I have shot both weapons, the AK sits high on your shoulder and kicks up alot. Semi auto isnt great either. M16 is lower therefore sits in your shoulder easier, which is the look of todays rifle, the butt is flat on top. Most rifles are straight on top anyway. The scar isnt but it has a better rail system and you can even pick up an AK-47 mag and slip it in if you run out of ammo.
thats the real world folks In a video game? you can never even determine because they both have there advantages. Obvously the M16 has a better range and is easy to use shooting far. The AK-47 would be better up close obviously.
so what has an advantage? big maps would be M16, small maps AK-47.
Most of the modern warefare today is fought in urban areas, cities, and of course afghanistan. The M16 does no really jam that often. if so hardly at all. The reason people get on its back about that is because of the vietnam war and of course that was in a jungle. Theres no jungle war thats gonna happen any time soon, and besides most of todays weapons are just as reliable as the AK. The AK-47 is almost obsolete, the M16 is still sent out to the marines. Id rather put an M16 in my hands any day over an AK
Depends how you use them. if you like to run in firing full auto trying to clear a building, i would recommend the AK for its high power and full auto fire mode, but if you use assault rifles in a more precise, longer range play style, i would recommend the M16 for its higher accuracy and burst fire.
they both have their trade offs AK-47's have high power but low acuracy unless you give it too some old soviet or a red guard and m16 don't have much fire power but have good accurcy well if the game you guys are playing is realistic they are equal just depends what do you like power or accurcy
