I don't know if this thread has been made previously, but if John is going to make another Exit Path, don't you think there should be a level editor? I want to know if any of you guys agree with me on this.
I'm a little iffy on the level-editor idea. You'll be having people spam levels constantly. But if it's like Visible 3 where you can rate the levels then it'll be somewhat good.

Pretty much this. But even WITH a rating feature I see this as being overly problematic for a few reasons:
- Just because you can make a level doesn't mean you're good at it. Expect 95% of custom levels to suck
-Expect copied levels from other games (ESPECIALLY Level 1-1 from Super Mario Bros). Expect those levels to have good ratings simply because of OMG-Mario/Whatever
- The inevitable flood of levels will make it unlikely that you replay each stage more than a few times. This basically turns the stage selection into a game of roulette.
What about two modes? One for playing the default (or just the 20-25 best rated user levels ever) and slowly getting perfect at them, and another for the "roulette". We forgot that months ago, but facing a level you've never seen before and trying to figure the best path in the 3 seconds before the start can be a good challenge.

I haven't forgotten, but the thing is that playing such a random mode and then switching from a badly designed stage to a terribly designed stage seems frustrating at best. And if one of the other players played that stage before he starts with an advantage.
And the whole voting thing can just be abused. ;P
I'd rather have a preset amount of good designed stages rather than a level editor. There's a reason, a Level Designer is a part of the game making process. Not everyone is cut out for it.
That depends on how honest the people vote of course. If, theoretically, one of the mods made a level I can see all the random people giving top ratings regardless of the levels quality.
And a level editor can also temp the dev to put less effort into the actual in-game levels because "the users will just make new ones".
But yes that system can work if it's executed well (Maybe make randomly generated levels? o.0 )
I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but I think EP1 could be refined before we go to EP2.
If not, I would suggest that multiplayer have winning percentage, and put people with similar winning percentages to play against each other, instead of putting Grandmasters vs. n00bs. It is not fair, and does not give the n00bs a chance to practice and get better. Maybe choose the level room you play in, and unlock harder level rooms as you advance levels?
i didn't know that exit path 2 was released is it on armor games
It was not released. And it will be on Armor Games. There was a Exit Path 2 beta sign up but it was already closed and the invite codes will come out in some weeks, I think. The game will be released in some months, probably.
True, but John is probably trying to make the game as safe as possible aginst hacker.. 1-2 weeks ago Faithpath and i played an Exit Path Hacker.. He had infinite flow. Probably John saw the posts at the General Exit Path Discussion and is trying now to make it safer.. Hopefully the beta is out soon, or is it already out and i didn't get in?
