Not to be nit-picky here, but it's not really a picture, right? I mean, it's not there's going to be a photograph sitting around for people to look at. Sure, the security scanners are going to see you, but who the hell cares what they think anyway?

Actually several pictures have been leaked already...

If it is necessary which i don't think it is, they should stop it. It is like they are treating every passenger like a suspected terrorist. If they had to do this there has to be another way to check people.

Really? A terrorist can just get an RPG-7 and sit somewhere in the bushes near an airport and wait for a plane to start lifting off. *BOOM* and no checking helped.

first off an RPG is impractical

and number 2 someones gonna notice, is why airports have guards patrolling in cars

because every passenger is, take the 9-11 hijacker, he was any other normal citizen and some people even liked him. He looked like any one else trying to get on a plane.

What do you guys think about profiling? Would this be a better solution or not? Or do you think it's racist?

no it wouldn't

not every bomber is walking around in robes and a turban with a huge beard

Ahh bomb dogs would be more practical, as they are less intrusive and can catch from further away, metal detectors are all you really need to detect other hidden weaponry.

body scanners seem fine, you just walk in, and 10 seconds later, you walk out.

The body scanners are basically taking a nude picture of you with potential health issues attached.

I would like to have a dog sniffing me. I like dogs. Bomb dogs would be a good idea.

Ok, first off, I see a much simpler and more reliable way to help with security. Instead of having incompetent TSA agents working there, how about we have ex- military or other trained people. Then, instead of body scanners, how about we PROFILE PEOPLE! I know most people would say thats racist, but Israel does it, and they haven't had a plane hi-jacking in ages. I'll say it just like Juan Williams, when I get on a plane, and see a muslim in full muslim garb, I get pretty freaked out. Thats not racist, its just a fact that people in their "religion" want to blow us up. So, have trained ex- law inforcement or military profiling people, and have them question them and see what they come up with. They act nervous, really start questioning them, then search them.

that is racist
your a bigot
and it won't work

Actually those people have a significantly higher chance of blowing up a plane in the current day. So why should they not have slightly higher security measures? I do not agree with him saying that the rest of security should be scrapped, but bomb dogs, metal detectors, and profiling, if necessary.

but as i said not everyones doing that

most bombers these days are american born and fit in like everyone else, if we profile and pull someone aside the guy might as well be saying "you look like a bomber, we need to search you"

And what is wrong with that? Everyone gets searched, but the people more likely to commit the crime get an extra eye put on them? They are still statistically more likely to commit the crime than other Americans.

Plus, I've never seen a guy walk onto a plane and scream "In the name of Jesus, I gonna blow you up!" It just doesn't happen.

No, they only do that to abortion clinics...

that will piss them off and might even cause an increase in bombings, were already in a precarious position so why make them madder?
