Okay guys. As for the trap...I want you to think very carefully for a moment. Got your thinking caps on? Good. Listen, this is the alchemist's home. He lived here. The traps were set up, while he lived here. Therefore, every time he left the home and returned, he would have to deal with the traps that he had set up, correct? Now, would you really want to have to disable a potentially lethal trap every time you wanted to enter your own house, or pick a lock every time you wanted to open your own front door?
To clarify your surroundings, there are four windows per side per level(so on the back, there are four windows at ground level), there is a big tall stairway leading to the front door because it's kind of high up off the ground, and the stairway itself is supported by several beams, blocks, etc. There is a sizable gap between the stairs and the ground that you could fit in, if you crouched. The door itself is ancient but still sturdy, made of strong, fortified wood. The lock barring it is of fairly high value, but has been corroded by time. Nearly all around the building are piles of refuse, probably left by the old owner himself(he didn't look to be too tidy, from what Siber saw).
Thank you, at last, I think someone might be getting what I was saying. Siber checks the mats in front of both doors, but he does not find anything of note.
If anyone has the DMG, I'm giving them permission to read the section on traps. It might give them a clue as to how, other than Disable Trap, you can bypass the traps.
Yeah, that was my hint to you guys.
Anyway, Calethen, Jozan, and Siber are all now checking around, looking under the rocks and mats to try and find a bypass. They don't find anything, however, you still have not checked everywhere.
I said and such, I'm checking everything around the house, and btw, I DON'T METAGAME, so stop telling us to look in the DMG, since I'm apparently the only one who owns it.
