I just know Crona's soul lance can travel for about 220Ft and it can pass through anything until it reaches it's limit. But if need be Crona will move to where he/she is capable of hitting him from around the force wall.

The force wall completely blocks passage downstairs and nothing can move through it.

Speaking of which, what does Zan do, considering that?

Demetrius stops anyone who tries to attack the guards.

Does Crona keep trying to kill the guards and Zan try to flee when Demetrius attempts to stop them?

Well if Zan tries to flee then Crona only tries to slow them down not attack them.

Both guards are literally bludgeoned to death by the Tentacles.
G3 stops whistling, and at least 15 guards come rushing up the stairs; They all run into the Wall of Force in a comical fashion and fall right back down the stairs in a massive wave of tumbling bodies.

I think they would stop Crona from doing any of the spells at all. Instead of casting any spells he/she just pets the kitty.
