Welcome all Exit Pathers! This is a designated topic to have all types of convos about Exit Path. One of the purposes of this topic is to keep all conversational-type comments away from the game comments and have them here.
To be honest I like some of the new challenge introduced, but what I dislike the most is the removal of flow tap, the removal of sticking on ceilings, and the removal of the ability to scroll through the level after you finish.
I think the pro's should settle down now, and let the next generation of pro's rise. 2 Weeks until i am off AG for around 2 months. Back to school, great.
Seems like John is just trying to sweep all these problems under the rug since he hasn't mentioned anything about fixing them nor posting anything relating to them.
One of the biggest at this point is once your over 30 there is rarely enough people on to play with. So your forced to not log in if you want to play. I think this game is going to die do mainly to the fact that once your over 30 you don't really have anyone to play with the majority of the time.
The mid air flow makes most of the levels a joke. at least in EP1 the double usually meant you had to double off a ledge to get anywhere and you still had to play most of the level
With the mid air double you just skip the vast majority of the obstacles and with overflow on the levels you use it the vast majority of those levels are spent doubling in the air.
Does anyone else really hate the addition of the ropes? EP1 was all about going fast and not stopping. the ropes are completely the opposite of what made ep1 fun. You spend your time either trying to glitch flow past them or under them when you can. The rest of the time they are just a nuisance and kill the whole feel of "look at how fast i am doing this level". the fans add some cool shortcuts but once again slow the game down.
Overflow is an interesting concept but on the levels you use it, it makes them boring. the worst is containers 2. 3 jumps to the second spring and then overflow jump and hold. and watch the entire level pass below you, so boring. atleast with the original containers it took some skill to do it. Containers 2 anyone can pull off.
In my opinion John's two new obstacles killed the concept of what made ep1 so much fun, going through the level fast.
The other really annoying part of several new levels is all the teeth obstacles at the end of levels. Those levels are completely luck of the lag. You get there super fast then have to wait and someone who is slower and gets the lucky lag timing on them zooms past you and you lose.
I doubt there will be an ep 3 after this one. In the desire to improve and make it better it was taken to far and made worse. The fun of the first was just lost.
I did not enjoy either. it took me a small time to figure out what i needed to do but a while to do it. exit path 2 was incredibly easy. 1 was harder.i belive i rated high though. it was still rather smooth.
I'm not really playing anymore, but for the poles/ropes. There are three conditions which you need to pass through 1 using flow 2 going fast enough 3 NOT pressing up or down
or.... sometimes you go passed them while flowing and you can never really know when this will happen (for me at least)
I find it totally random, like on steps, about 3/4 of the time I flow the entire ropes and then the next time i do the exact same thing and wham stuck on first rope. And tronMozart you can flow past a rope with just basic flow, its very random at times.
Im only playing ep2 cause theres a lot of new stuff to try and theres double jumps midair. But really i think its a lot easier in ep1 to find a trick or sc and it has more lag.
