Welcome all Exit Pathers! This is a designated topic to have all types of convos about Exit Path. One of the purposes of this topic is to keep all conversational-type comments away from the game comments and have them here.
For lunge, hold flow before the match even starts, the second its ready and goes do the double jump. Have never missed it once I learned that.
For Level 29, I watched Zero's video posted by Matrix to get my routine. Tap flow a bit to start, hold it when above the vertical row of blocks, and jump up a little bit after you step off the platform (air jump) -- release flow mid-way, spam up when you run into the wall. (If you tap flow when at latter wall you should have left over to use to finish the level and get a great flow start on 30.)
@GoMatrix
Crossroads always was one of my weaker jumps, in uni and multi. Hit it about 50%, Thankfully it's early enough a restart doesn't bother me. I despise failing on later levels... **** YOU 27 and 29!
Also weird for flags, only has happened to me (at least that I've noticed) is on Treadmillvania, will have to pay attention tomorrow when I play.
Had a random thought today which I think would be awesome if implemented in EP 2. Not sure how the multiplayer is being set-up at all yet, would probably require private rooms that could be controlled, anyways:
Basically the idea is have a mode which would be like a tournament type option. Have a run through each course once that keep a running total of points for that session (1st place = 5 pts, 2nd place 3, 3rd 2, 4th 1... whatever.) After the maps are played each player gets its overall place. Would be sweet for holding structured tournaments and just generally be a great mode for the more hardcore players. Thoughts?
What about the null glitch? Has anyone mentioned that yet? Sometimes, when I enter a room my name shows up as "null." There may be people in the lobby, but when the game starts, the room empties, and I'm alone. I am always "1st of 0 runners." It is useful for me to be alone to learn tricks and practice routes on certain maps (front door, secret staircase, etc.) but it is still a strange glitch.
speaking of small glitches. I noticed some minor on uniplayer. Leaving the level in air (high jump) sometimes results in the game not registering the jump order in the next level (during white blurry level swap). At least it felt like the game missed the jump order...its easily avoidable but just wanted to mention it
You become 'null' if you Login to your account name and join multiplayer. Then before entering a game back out back to main and logout. Now after re-entering multiplayer you will become null. Just verified that (has happened to me as well before.)
