What is your favorite lord of the rings character? I am currently watching "Fellowship Of the Ring" on Netflix and I want to know what is your favorite character...
my favorite character was always gandalf. he seems so strong and wise and in that world where you can never know who is watchong you around the corner id choose him to be with me lol
My favourite is frodo cause he is an awesome hobbit
Frodo's an awful puppy-eyed wussy who does nothing more than crying throughout all the films. The other three hobbits are much cooler than him; Sam cuz he has awesome willpower and loyalty, Merry cuz he's valiant (for a hobbit), and Pippin for being Pippin.
The Nazguls are also cool, especially the Witch King with his flaming sword and huge flail. Their flying mounts are also worth a mention, they're probably my favourite beasties in the films.
What about the orcs? You can't forget the orcs in all this. They all might be evil but you do have to admit that they are bad ***. Just how many orcs the army has is just ridiculous. I still can't believe that good prevailed in this movie. I guess it just relied on some wise tactics.
Nazgul were awesome. The only thing that I found annoying to my ears is their battle-cry type thing when their voices are all screechy.
The orcs are impressive, but somehow I have a preference for the Moria orc vermin, I don't quite know why. I think their independency and swarm-like organisation make them more realistic. Oh and speaking of Moria, my absolute favourite beast is of course the Balrog

He was portrayed as such in the movies. The books dwell further into his character. Also, you must acknowledge that he was the ring-bearer and it requires more than just strength or willpower to evade it's influence. For instance, Boromir was almost immediately hypnotised by the ring.
Well, all that aside, my favourite LOTR character is Gandalf.
Ya I know, yet I still think Frodo is not well represented in the film. Even before he got the ring he acts a bit like that, with his sad looks. It only gets worse with the ring. I should have specified that I was referring to the film and not the book though, you're right.
