Was the ring itself sentient or was it just channelling Sauron?

The Ring incorporates a large part of Sauron's native power, hence it was equipped with a spiteful sentience of sorts.

Sauron's helmet-mask-thing in the movie looks really cool. And my other favorite character is Pippin, especially in the movies. He's funny.

Without a doubt, Radagast the Brown. He's a really cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything. Not to mention the fact that he can control animals and stuff.

I like all of them alot.

I like Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli. Especially Gimli, "NOT THE BEARD" and "Toss me, but dont tell the elf." Funny guy

My favourite character is King Theoden, I love the scene when in Lord of the Rings The Return of the King he makes his final speech then he charges the rohirrim.

Also, I can't wait till Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit Part 1 comes out.

I like Legolas the most.. but my favorite part of the movies (besides the battle scene in the Two Towers) is the relationship between legolas and Gimli.. it makes me happy

Legolas. I've always had a strong affinity towards bows and arrows, and whenever Legolas draws an arrow, I know it's going to be good.
