Legolas has always been my favorite. I love archery myself.

That's too hard of a question to answer, so many, but Aragon is cool, and Gandalf and the hobbits, and Legolas....

Either Aragorn or Gimli. Aragorn because he is epic, and Gimli because his dwarvish brand of humour is always funny.

Gimili because he was always the funny guy no matter the situation.

legolas. Because he is a boss at archery.

Might seem kinda strange but, Meriadoc "Merry" the hobbit.... I always really appreciated his character, I guess he reminds me of me a bit. Also he was one of the tallest hobbits ever

My favorite character has always been Aragon, he's just so cool! And he can speak the language of the elfs.

Tom Bombadil. Hes a jolly person, though he didn't make it into the movies. Appeared in Volumn I, or 'The Fellowship of The Ring'.

Treebeard. Appears in Volumns I and II, or 'The Fellowship of The Ring' and 'The Two Towers'. Appeared in the movies.

Though my favorite character would have to be Faramir. He's brave and noble and honerable. But what really makes him an excellent character is that, as KatPryde said, he has a special air about him. He has the auroa of one who doesn't think he deserves his title, and at the same time knows he won't have it much longer. What I admire about him most though is that he is always willing to sacrifice himself for others. I think he's really defined when he charges with his men at Osgilliath, and is slaughtered by the Orc Archerers.

The giant eyeball. I don't know his name, because I've never really been able to watch any of the movies without falling asleep, but I've always found giant talking eyeballs to be pretty awesome.
