ok call of duty was nice, still is nice kinda. but its getting to be a bit much. they come out with a new game EVERY year it seems, and its getting kind of old. the whole FPS fad thats been happening lateley is getting out of control. i say we boycot call of duty so they can actually take time to make a good game and not just fire them out of there ***** every 6 months. cause honestly they are making way to much money for what they are producing
I like all of the games. I have from CoD: 3 and up. I've beaten every campaign but never bothered with multiplayer. I play CoD as a substitute for the movies. The gameplay, not so much. I have a PS3, so free multiplayer, but still. I don't really care.
CoD isn't that expensive, at least for renting from GameFly, and it should just keep going with the games. The storylines have never disappointed me, and even though the gameplay is almost always the same, it doesn't seem to get repetitive since you are always in different environments.
Well, I like CoD, especialy black ops (zombie mode and blasting people away with the thundergun) But yah, it is kind of starting to feal like halo (I feal such a resemblence (not story mode) but the actually controls when I play) but they both have there pros and cons. And yah, halo : reach is the last of the halo bungie is making, but maybe some other corperation with adopt it and make more.
They should make a third person cod, it would rock. Of course you would still be able to snipe. There needs to be some sort of twist to the series, or start a new 1. They always have sequels. Cod4+Cod6 Cod5+Codd7 what the hell?
I honestly think that Call of Duty is starting to lose its "luster". I've owner/played every (besides the DS versions) of Call of Duty at some point in time and I think they're simply outstanding and amazing games, but I think the story lines are starting to phase out.
What I'm trying to say is, that I'm kinda tired of playing the same game, in the same war, but with a story line that is just a little bit different each time.
I think they should come up with some brand new material and brand new story lines to make Call of Duty much more interesting.
You think it's a little too much after basically the same game has been released for the eighth time, not to mention all those handheld games no one really cares about?
See, if BlOps was the FIRST game in the CoD series, then yeah, it'll actually be pretty good. But no. They've done this before. Same old concept, complete with prettier models and that slow motion section that actually isn't very realistic at all.
It's as bad as these new Final Fantasies, seriously.
Let me get this straight, they make a new COD every year now with each one having more weapons, a longer single player game, and better graphics than the last all of which you can choose not to buy and you're complaining?

are you saying black ops' graphics are better then MW2S?!?! blk ops is terrible just like mw2 and COD4 (only because they abandoned it)

Same here, I think the game is awesome but I got tired of it. My friends barely play it and maybe new features to a next game would be nice.
Call of Duty is what got me started on first person shooters, and I like the game very much, but it has just become too popular. I like to play many games, but all people talk about anymore is Call of Duty. I don't like how Call of Duty is taking over the entire gaming industry. Killzone, Fallout, inFamous, Dead Space, Grand Theft Auto and other games that are really great get ignored due to all of the CoD fans.
my opinion is that cod are just making the same game (modern warfare or world at war). and giving it a different title, it would be nice to have something different.
