one time i used a light creeper in survival mode elemental creepers/single player commands) and i hollowed out the inside and made a house i also made some geographical barriers with the earth creeper. the game is so dang addicting!
Great. Just great. JUST FREAKING GREAT. MY MINECRAFT JUST HAD TO BREAK. ISN'T THAT JUST FREAKING GREAT? BEST FREAKING DAY EVER! Y'know, wake up super-pissed off, get mad at ****, try to play Minecraft, it freezes and is unable to be fixed, isn't that just FREAKING GREAT? BECAUSE, IN MY STANDARDS, THAT'S THE BEST FREAKING DAY EVER!
Sorry for my rant. I finally fixed Minecraft. That was a bit of a sad moment, though, since most of my subscriptions are Minecraft-based. I was crying my eyes out. But no worries.
what do u guys build your house with? i build it with dirt, cause if u make it with dirt, it wont go on fire like with wood
I use unrefined cobblestone or netherrack because dirt is really rare if you think about it and it is useful for marking where the nether portal is.
When I start out I guess I build the house with dirt and cobblestone because I just dig into the ground, it really sucks when you spawn where the is no trees though since you wouldn't be able to dig into the ground or mine the first night (like I usualy do)
One time I had a spawn that there was one tree within about a 100 block radius (probably larger) and the tree that I end up finding was a solitary tree so I had to build an artificial forest using the saplings I gained from the trees.

Ugh, dirt. *shudders* A mixture of cobblestone, wood logs, and planks. Cobble for the walls, planks for the floor and roof, and logs for the corners of the house. Of course, I'm thinking of trying Monkeyfarm's base in his LP series. (starting here)
I finished my first minecraft video (actually, it's my 3rd, but the first two were made a year or so ago on my mac and are really crappy). It's of my 3-bit calculator.
Actually, the XBLA Minecraft is coming this month, and they've announced some good stuff of it, they showed the boxshot, you'll be able to play with 7 people on a server, crafting, only problem is, it won't have ALL the functions of the PC version, but it will get updated, like 1.3, 1.4 " " and so on.
cool i watched all but the last like 20 seconds but that's cool, i hope the Xbox version has everything that the PC does whatever the PC version has
Haha that's like saying I wish a bottle rocket was like a warhead. The PC just has alot of flexibility that a counsel dosen't have, starting with more key mapping and ending with overrall more processing power and graphics capibilities.

I quite like that they are doing that instead of doing "Minecraft 2", it shows that they want their project to live on and be perfect, I hope that they will add compatibility with texture packs in the future.
