I don't know if anyone has said this because I didn't feel like looking through the other 198 pages of this post but you can get the offline version of minecraft for free you just go to www.minecraft.net and click the download button underneath the BUY NOW button!! Its free because when you buy the full version you just get multiplayer and i think some other premium stuff and when you launch it click sign in and then ckick play offline(unless you have a premium account then you enter your username and password and click sign in).

I volunteer to be the official host of the event if MegaIPOD wants to ditch me and be a player, which is fine with me. We have two willing to play as of this moment.

That's fine, last as long as you aren't placing any secret chests or anything. You probably shouldn't place any chests at all, lest you know were to look for items and such.

Is there any particular setting you guys want to the survival map? As in, humongous castle... Forest ruins... Volcano... Whatever, as long as we can build it.
