It's finally here!

I'm loving it so far. The map is much better than the previous games, and I love all the new battle options.

Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some hints as to how to beat field L8. I'm level 39 but I can't path the monsters just right.
Help?

Any suggestion for the best field to attempt the "gem bombs kill only" amulet? I'm guessing it needs to have a lot of mana shards and relatively few waves.

G13+Wild gem 20 level. Start all waves, create grade 1 gems and enjoy smashing little bugs. they have 10-40 hp.

BTW you even didn't need wild gem - just put all points in "increased mana pool"=for non-premium.

Wild gem isn't a premium-only skill.

It worked, though I found out that poison gems shouldn't be used as they could give poison kills rather than gem bomb kills.

I'm pretty sure I got the "gem bombs only" amulet by playing field G13 and just doing nothing... I didn't kill anything and just let the monsters kill me like wave 1 and got the amulet.

It's undoubtedly a glitch but it is an easy way to get the amulet...

@Gez - I meant that if you have premium, you can spend points also in gem bombing.

I am level 530 now, the highest XP so far is around only 2,000,000 and I saw someone got 30,000,000 with a 500 leveled wizard, can anyone tell me how to do that?
BTW, I have tried to only use trap in order to suck as much mana as possible and I went to around 2,000 or something close to that, but after I finished the game I got only 200,000 XP, what the hell

@Wizard

Select a level with 2500+ base xp and play it with maxed difficulty multiplier on endurance. Use nothing but Y/O/L gems - you'll want a tower with some amps at first, but after the first few waves you'll want to have a few traps (also amped up) to get mana.

Somewhere between grade 12-15 (depending on your setup), the Y/O/L gems will start to do more damage in a trap than the tower - at that point you can begin condensing your setup to a single amped up grade 19 Y/O/L in a trap. Congratulations you can now click through endurance and get ~30M+ xp

I know that's not step by step but it's the general idea. A couple other tips -
Make sure you max the wild gem skill and harvest its mana at the start, that will go a long ways to making the first levels easier.

Don't worry too much if you can't kill the first waves. At level 530, that's going to be pretty difficult (depending on the level). You should be able to make so much mana that it won't matter when they hit your orb.

Make sure you can cover the entire screen with fire from your tower gem. If one gem can't do it, make sure you have 2 or 3 strategically placed to hit other areas. Otherwise, you could get really screwed when the shadow shows up.

Anger the early waves as often as you can manage. That will seem crazy, but you need to get to a grade 19 gem by about level 80 ish, and by the 90s the monsters will have the maxed out 3.3B HP. My strategy is to pause, find the next 4 monster wave, and then anger all the preceding waves until they have at least half the HP of the 4 monster wave (and often closer to matching their HP). I don't tend to anger the 4 monster waves very much. Better to start angering early, which leads to the next point...

Shrines are an absolute MUST on most levels. For the first 50 or 60 waves, you aren't likely to be able to both anger waves, build up your killing tower gem, and build up your trap gems all at the same time. Your damage output simply won't keep up with the monster HP. Build tons of shrines and drop grade 7 or 8 gems on waves 3 or 4 at a time so that they are easy to kill for your tower gem.

One final note - sometimes it is helpful to turn off the setting that makes monsters regain 25% of their health when they hit your orb. It is only a 1.05 multiplier so you don't lose much XP, but it can be a PAIN if you have tons of low health monsters hitting your orb repeatedly and you just can't finish them off.

Oh forgot one thing too... getting your mana pool up is a top priority. Get an x2.0 multiplier ASAP, and get to x4.0 as quickly as you can after that.

I usually then wait for a bit (~wave 50 maybe?) and push it to x6.0, where I usually leave it until ~wave 70 or 80 when it's time to start creating grade 19+ gems
