Uuh, I'm pretty sure you just contradicted yourself there, buddy.
As the very words after what you quoted said, it was a joke. L2Read (long time since I used that abbreviation).
Commanderdude7, someone doesn't like you!!!
Once again, learn to read. I clearly stated that I was talking about the OP.
Thats not true Justice, and ALL systems have their flaws.
This is a reply to all three things there, I just CBA to quote them all.
Yes, all systems have their flaws. My point was not that your system had flaws, my point was that your system was in no way superior to other countries' systems.
IF you always say that, than noones acomplishments mean anything; there worthless, or have been 'beaten'.
This doesn't make a lot of sense. Sure, just because electricity was invented doesn't mean people shouldn't invent stuff using electricity. I assume that's sort of what you meant. However! If someone does invent something using electricity, like a light bulb, then they cannot take credits for inventing electricity as well.
This example might not get the point through, what I'm trying to say is that even though you were the first to put a man on the moon, the Russians were a first to send
a man into space, and sure, sending a man to the moon is a bigger step than just sending one to space, but the step from sending a man to space and sending a man to the moon is much, much smaller than the step from being on Earth and sending a man to space. If I'm going to go back to my previous example, this could be put as that, in the space race, the Russians did something equivalent of inventing electricity, and you then did something equivalent of making a light bulb out of that electricity.
i have sen many British people complaining about America and i do feel like they are being hypocrites with all their stereotyping.
Yes, occasionally I feel the same way, then I come across people like the OP of this thread. However, the point here isn't that Americans are proud to be American, it's that they seem to think they're superior to everyone else, without a good reason.
I'm sure the majority of the Americans are decent people, who know better than to say such ridiculous things as:
America is a shining beacon standing for freedom, democracy, and justice. Mess with us, and we're gonna knock you on your ***.
or
C'mon, can't the haters stop hating, and we all just love the USA? Lets just look at who could be around today, controlling the world, if it wasn't for America.
Unfortunately, however, the narrow-minded fools who don't know better are usually also the loudest ones, and the ones you notice.
