Now I've been seeing a lot of negativity about the greatest country on earth, home of doughboys and applepies and moms and the City that Never Sleeps, and why is that? C'mon, can't the haters stop hating, and we all just love the USA? Lets just look at who could be around today, controlling the world, if it wasn't for America.

There has never been a truly communist country.


Truth is truth, powerful people bent it to their wills deforming into something else that suit them more. Though democracy doesn't have to be bent so far since it already serves their purposes.


Why the United States has survived as long as it has. Hopefully it stays that way. Socialism + Communism, stay out of our faces.


I'm willing to bet your don't know the first thing about socialism or communism except untruths you were force fed. If you hate something for no reason, then you don't really hate it and if you continue to think so your delusional.

And its exactly that attitude thats the cause of why America has lasted as long as it has. Has America ever been defeated? No. Has America ever been bested? No. Has America ever been sent physically reeling from another Nation's actions? No. No. NO!

Also, remember of the other 9/11, when USA supported Pinochet's coup d'etat destroying a democratic government, just because it was socialist.

They came over here, and they saw the Native Americans. Did the future Americans recognize the Natives as having already claimed America? Nope. You know what we did? We killed them and took their land. The Natives weren't given full citizenship until 1924. And we can't forget that we sailed over to Africa and captured blacks. We destroyed their villages, sailed them over to the US, and separated them from their families. As for this depressing excuse of a &quotresident." So far, I have seen him do nothing whatsoever. Watch the news. He has a vacation virtually every two weeks. Aside from that, it is very unlikely that he is a US citizen. Why else would he not allow us to see the original copy of his birth certificate? If he gave it to us, this would be over and done with. Nope, because he is not an American. I could go on all day about America. As for you, I have no idea. You seem to be very blind when it comes to this country. I don't understand people like you who put so much effort into supporting this sad excuse of a country. As for me, I am a natural-born US citizen. I have a strong dislike towards this country. I say I'm moving to Canada.

The USA is a nation made of migration. Why should it matter where a person was born if they identify themselves as a proud American? Why are immigrants to America treated as second class citizens? (Please note that I do not for a second believe the slander that Obama was born outside the national borders of the USA).

On another note, why are those people convicted of felonies denied the vote? Doesn't this send them the message that they no longer belong to the society in which they live, that they are outlaws, and thus why should they ever bother (apart from fear of further punishment) to behave responsibly towards and in the society that has rejected them?

I think that Obama is more of a figurehead than an actual politician. he makes us look awesome but does not do as much as other parts of congress.

So, even though the USSR killed millions of their own people, its on an equal stage to American Democracy?

Very true, but if we are going to call ourselves the "Greatest Country on Earth" we should at least know the rulers of some of the countries we are competing against.

Yes, all systems have their flaws. My point was not that your system had flaws, my point was that your system was in no way superior to ALL other countries' systems.


Of course there are many countries with worse systems, but being better than the worst does not necessarily make you the best.

And I have no idea of how your reply to the other quote is in any way relevant.

not that we force the poor to fight each other, but did you notice that the capitol and the first world are verry similar?

-throwing away food.
-not knowing where goods come from.
-not caring about the rest of the world...
