Well, I was searching to see if this was already made, but the searches didn't show a thread with my idea so here it is. I am making this thread so we can have a typical tavern discussion thread for all things science! Basically, a thread for everything science! Ranging from discussions about laws and theories, scientific debate, breakthroughs, discussion about new scientific breakthroughs, certain scientists/philosophers, and all that good stuff!
So go out there and let out your inner science! ;P
To get us going somewhere I'll start: what do you think the future holds for technology? I think our knowledge will allow us to overcome the obstacles thrown at us in the future, I mean, we have discovered so much and have come so far!

Ive clicked on some of your links and I am into Science and all but I don't like reading all that bulky boring stuff, although this nanotechnology does seem interesting.

and the Asterisks

Actually, asterisks are the profanity filter to censor swearing. I swore in my previous post because the link didn't work.

Urticaria? Isn't that more of an allergy than a disease (and is it really that rare)? I had that one, it's pretty bad when your whole arm turns swollen red and itchy; I've passed a marvellous night scratching me and not sleeping at all. At least I never had trouble breathing, though my tip of the tongue has been swollen once or twice. But I seem to be mostly rid of it now, my skin still reacts a bit more to pressure than before, but it only gets slightly red and doesn't itch.

Something that sounds like an allergy

That stemmed from a discussion about what the rarest disease is. Urticaria happens to be in the 10 rarest diseases according to the link I have provided.

Wow, thine armatar has changed. I wonder if attitudes change as well...

Let's not write Shakespearean here, and no, I am still the same no matter what my armatar is.

Unfortunately. Anyway, Ebola syndrome, although not rare, is by far one of the worst diseases known.
