What is she looking at?

Possibly the Artist drawing her.
Why is she smiling?

The Artist probably asked her to smile.

She might not even be a real person. The artist could have just sat down and painted a lady smiling and looking out into the distance.

What is she looking at? Why is she smiling?

On that note, Why are you asking? Why am I posting about it?

Her eyes are supposed to follow you, at every angle you look at it, she's staring at you.

Why is she smiling?

In my opinion, she's not smiling, but just has her lips straight, sort of like the smiley face :|
If you know what I mean.

That would be rather difficult.
Why are you asking?

Curiosity.
Why am I posting about it?

You did it out of your own volition.

I know what you mean and I have to disagree.

You can see the cheeks are lifted up a tad and it's like that when you make a small smile.

Alright, there is a faint smile.
But it's not one of happiness or joy, she's just forcing a smile.
That's my opinion though.

It is a well known fact that Leonardo DaVinci was a homosexual who liked to dress up in drag. Also, it it quite possible that it is him in the painting. Interesting side note, he referred to the Mona Lisa as his greatest work, when, technically, it is one of his more mediocre. There is a lot of mysticysm behind this painting, and I could go on for days, but I am going to stop now.

I was hoping this would be about the song by P!@TD.

Anyway... *reads through thread* I wasn't aware he liked dressing up in drag.

I have nothing constructive to add to this thread. Although I suppose anything I say would seem constructive after a post by v6y XD

The smile of Mona Lisa is a mystery Leonardo Da Vinchi left behind when he died. Since then, no one figured it out. I showed this picture here to test if you guys on Armor Games could solve it.

Let's just say Da Vinci is screwing with us. Why does there have to be meaning behind it? Couldn't it just be he painted it for the sake of painting it? I doubt this was meant to be understood.

So you say that world's most expensive painting in one of the worlds largest museums is made by one who's just screwing?! (but I must agree that you can have right)

He could be. The human race always has to over think things. Maybe hes just making a point. idk.

He's not screwing with us, he didn't know we would speculate and make theories. He most likely just painted it to paint it.

No, not intentionally. I'm sure there is a motive behind the painting, however, it's probably a personal one and therefore, it's a painting. There is no meaning for anyone else except for the man who is 500 years dead.
