It is a well known fact that Leonardo DaVinci was a homosexual who liked to dress up in drag. Also, it it quite possible that it is him in the painting. Interesting side note, he referred to the Mona Lisa as his greatest work, when, technically, it is one of his more mediocre. There is a lot of mysticysm behind this painting, and I could go on for days, but I am going to stop now.
The smile of Mona Lisa is a mystery Leonardo Da Vinchi left behind when he died. Since then, no one figured it out. I showed this picture here to test if you guys on Armor Games could solve it.
Let's just say Da Vinci is screwing with us. Why does there have to be meaning behind it? Couldn't it just be he painted it for the sake of painting it? I doubt this was meant to be understood.
So you say that world's most expensive painting in one of the worlds largest museums is made by one who's just screwing?! (but I must agree that you can have right)
He's not screwing with us, he didn't know we would speculate and make theories. He most likely just painted it to paint it.
No, not intentionally. I'm sure there is a motive behind the painting, however, it's probably a personal one and therefore, it's a painting. There is no meaning for anyone else except for the man who is 500 years dead.
