Most of my mythology is based on percy jackson, so i tried reading some stuff of the net, but its just crap, if the mythology is'nt made interesting by modern authors its just not that intriuging.

Sisyphus has to keep failing at a simple task for the rest of eternity.

Also roman mythology is like greek mythology but the gods are more deadly and angry right?

The roman gods are a copy paste of the greek gods, only slightly altered. So I guess their mythology is pretty similar too, but I never really read any roman mythology tale.

Greek mythology is pretty interesting with all the myths and stuff but pretty much bores me

i like it its cool. yes i like percy jackson and such. and clash of the titans is a good movie. its kinda the same as percy jackson though, just not as funny. i mean the basic story lines are very similar. hades tries to over throw zues. thats it

Greek mythology is a nice and entertaining subject, but no offence to anyone, i think its all fake.

Greek and Norse mythology are both so awesome. I loved it as a kid. The fickleness of the Gods, the philandering of Zeus resulting in various love-childs. It just seems so much more real than the Abrahamic notions of a deity.

i seriously love the greek gods. Rick Riordan Percy Jackson and The last Olympian have gotten me crazy about the greek mythology because he introduced it to kids in a much simpler way.

Everything that the Greeks did became the basis for something else. They're like an earlier base to our endless dichotomy of invention.

I don't remember that well but was it the Greeks or the Romans who created democracy as one of our types of government. I think it was the Romans, not really sure.

Ok soo here are some basic things about greek mythology that everybodey should know.


Greek mythology is quite interesting.........it takes a big and creative mind to make up those stories......and for people 2 believe in those stories is another thing ....

Just look at Heracles.....soo he's a demigod (half god half man) he's father was Zeus and he's mother was a mortal...and still he was the strongest man alive......

Zeus----> the main God, god of lightning and everything else




Poseidon---->god of the sea


Hades----->god of the underground, hell if u woul'd like but that doesn't mean that he's the devil....actualy he's something different...


Hestia--->godess of the architecture



Hera----->wife of Zeus, godess of maridge


Athena---->guardian of the Athens, godess of wisdom, war




Aphrodite------>godess of beauty
