I think it really depends on the drug. Heroin is bad because of it's addictiveness. While weed isn't nearly as addictive.
Well, first, if you want to get into a debate about drugs, what exactly defines a drug (the ones we're talking about)? Is it any mind-altering substance? Because then water is a drug. So what is a drug, exactly?
Pot is psychologically addictive, unlike say, heroin, which is physically addictive.
Correct but heroin is also psychologically addictive. And there are varying degrees of addictiveness in both senses as well and pot is not as addictive as heroin.

A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body. Water does not alter the processes of the mind or body.
But music does. And like pot, music can be addictive in so much as you like the feeling it induces but stopping cold turkey will run the risk of a seizure like a lot of chemically addictive substances.
Same with gambling and sex and other things. But they aren't substances.
i made avery very very generalised statement that i dont want to debate because this is a relligion thread, basically in the long term hard drugs often lead to crime and grimmi i never said that you have to or should believe in religion, i dont, i was just questioning qwertys argument that religions are like drugs and therefore bad
