People often complain about how their prayers always go unanswered, and I was just wondering what the AG community thought about this topic. I was also interested in where your opinions where on asking God for something.
By supporting their murderer, by worshiping him, nourishing him, and whatever else they do there.
I don't know of much murder-via-dies going on lately. If you mean natural disasters, of course we have the whole laundry list of explanations, although I'm pretty sure I've named them all and you've disagreed by now.

I am talking about the torture, though I suppose torturer would be a more appropriate, but long, term.
So could you go to eternal bliss without the cricket yelling in your ear that much of your friends and family are currently being horribly tortured?
I don't know that my friends and family are being tortured, besides, they had to have deserved it anyway.
We are talking about this heaven/hell scenario, correct? Assuming you have some degree of knowledge, you could easily deduce that many of your friends and relatives have gone to hell, according to the Christian doctrine. Such as if an Atheist in your family dies before you do, that would pretty much send them to Christian hell, as they wouldn't convert without your knowledge. Even if you died before them, there is still a pretty good chance that atheists will stay atheists, Muslims will stay Muslims, Buddhist will stay Buddhist, Hindus will stay Hindus and so on. You would then know, assuming you had a way of finding out, that they where all being tortured while you where partying.

But there is still as good as a chance that they WOULD convert when faced by God, and that I'll see them again when I die (assuming I go to Heaven, which I probably won't.) This is a bad subject for me though,as I am young and green, for the only person close to me who's died is one of my best friends, and he was devoutly Catholic.

According to someone on this forum(I forget his name, but he probably just left), you don't get a chance once you die.

So am I, but I know plenty of atheists close to me, and can theorize that atheists will be prevalent in my life in my future. I think my brother is an atheist. If I manage to leave my room long enough to get married, my wife will have a good chance of being an atheist or weak theist, leaving my kids to not be indoctrinated and likely become atheists themselves. Though of course that is just speculation, I also have some atheist friends and acquaintances. Though all the people I have listed are currently alive and well, unless you count my good old dog who would technically be an atheist...
