It seems to me that, during my short time here on the forums, the majority of the AG Community is Atheist. Is this just me, or is there truth to my thoughts?
Well, maybe being that bother Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, which is an extremely catholic book, are in the fiction section in a library and the Bible happens to be in the nonfiction might have something to do with my belief.
Is the Koran also in the nonfiction section? If so, then follow that as well or any other holy text for that matter.
It's because of the people of Christianity - I don't know any who've thought for themselves or debating using some actual believable methods (with the possible exception of Vesperbot),
no theist here presents things logically or w/ any semblence of intelligence? is that what you're trying to say?
I would like to find out how many of the atheist community have actually been complimented by the all three of the biggest named people here. ...and they would be Moegreche, Walker, and the one called Magegray
...but finding out that is neither here nor there and doesn't prove anything. Finding anyone w/ those credentials wouldn't give them any credit or anything... b/c we're all illogical bafoons. (:"( )

Pretty much, yeah.
I would like to find out how many of the atheist community have actually been complimented by the all three of the biggest named people here. ...and they would be Moegreche, Walker, and the one called Magegray
Not a lot as far as I know. They've been aided by some of the hot shots but not really complimented.

Since this has turned into a lets pat ourselves on the back thread... (lets just get this straight... i don't normally do this kind of thing)
I've been acknowledged by them for having halfway intelligent conversations here in the wepr.... I could cite specific instances if you don't believe me. Your argument was that none of my breed have anything in the way of intelligence... 3 of the people who's pant leg you all cling to and constantly parrot have said otherwise. Your statement would then discredit them... and I just can't allow that b/c they themselves are intelligent people...
Also, in the way of intelligence was a harsh way to go about it, I said what I meant and if I wanted to do so in an insulting manner, I would have. I'm unsure whom's side you are on, the theists or atheists because right now it appears when you said it "in a different way" it seems like you attempted to put words in my mouth.
I guess my name isn't one that's easily recognized.
Your statement was one of absolution (leaving Vesperbot out...and encompassing everyone else)
you said all the others have participated w/o intelligence. That means I've participated w/o intelligence. Whether on a thread or in a chat, the 3 of them have all made mention of either the intelligence behind my posts, how well written and thought out they are, and even my patience with the those I discuss with. (as some flip out at the first sign of opposition) If we are to take what you've said with any credit then we are to lessen our view of those three b/c your statements directly contradict. Either they're right or you are.
as for citations...
there's a thread somewhere in the AG grave yard that had some little kid w/ an ego going around (much like some here) complimenting Mage and the like saying "you sir are a great mind... just like myself"... I posted what I thought was a reasonable counter and the kid pretty much didn't read it and said I was stupid. Moegreche then stepped in and made him look really silly... as I haven't seen the kid since.
Go to my profile comments and look up the first few message exchanges btw Mage and myself for the other. Its when he says he was adding me as a friend on here if you have a hard time finding it.
walker was in a chat... so its lost to the interwebz
I don't like trying to toot my own horn, but I hate to be called stupid.... and thus I have presented you w/ instances where the ones most of you flock to have disagreed with your with your statement.
and as per the Magegray thing... someone else used the term in that way earlier in the thread.... i thought it was relevant and that it went with the thread... therefore I used it that way.
It just shows that you follow another persons opinion without forming your own.
I've my own, but I'm not going to conflict with theirs even if mine is different.

To quote myself:
It's because of the people of Christianity - I don't know any who've thought for themselves or debating using some actual believable methods (with the possible exception of Vesperbot),
From my perspective, I'm talking about major contributors to a forum on the theist side of the debate.
That means I've participated w/o intelligence.
Intelligence of what is the question, clearly you're not a retard (and this is not being sarcastic), but quite often the debate can be constructed well but the reason for it is pretty nil.
If we are to take what you've said with any credit then we are to lessen our view of those three b/c your statements directly contradict. Either they're right or you are.
Whom's to say that it's only one side of the equation right? Who knows, maybe you had more to back up on in your previous posts thus could make a better contribution, or anything else. I'm not denying what they said but it doesn't mean I'm 100% wrong.
and thus I have presented you w/ instances where the ones most of you flock to have disagreed with your with your statement.
I "flock to them" because they have the sources and attitude I think is necessary to properly combat the situation. And yeah, they disagreed, I haven't seen a Theist disagree - which appears to have more personality behind it? Plus, it's not necessarily a disagreement as it isn't contrary to what I said because it was to my knowledge.
Also, you did not answer my question which was - who's side are you on? - H
If Ebert and Roeper tell you a movie that you like is bad, will you change your mind and support that it is a bad movie? Anyway, I'm out of here. This has turned into a pissing contest. Who cares about the opinions of 3 random people? Make up your own mind.

To be fair his argument has a point, MageGray and 2 other people (whom some people respect) indirectly disagreed with what I said.
Although since I did not know which side he was on it wasn't necessarily directed at him. He's went against what I've said with intelligence and sources so I can't really say he is one of those people I mentioned.
I'm assuming that last post of yours hints at you having discerned which side I'm on?
I apologize for my abrupt and abrasive behavior. All of that wasn't for just you. The general vibe I get from most of them is that we're all stupid by definition.
Well, maybe being that bother Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, which is an extremely catholic book, are in the fiction section in a library and the Bible happens to be in the nonfiction might have something to do with my belief.
Along with books on neoPagan books, the Qur'an, the Bhagavad Gita, the Book of Mormon. So why don't you believe them as well?
Other people like Vesperbot I actually respect, sure, different beliefs but he hasn't run out on anything and he's been talking for 150 pages roughly.
I can give him props for that, though he loses any respect with his refusal to accept the possibility that he might be wrong then hypocritically accusing others of doing this.
Say it right, you owe it to him.
You get the idea of who he's talking about. And it's better then being call "that ***hole".
Intelligent people can be wrong. I'm not saying they are or are not in this case...I'm just saying.
Yep I've been wrong lots of times. It's learning and attempting to correct the mistake that makes the difference. In fact I sometimes prefer being wrong, I can get more out of it.
as for citations...
If my opinion is suppose to hold that sort of weight then why bother looking.
Your posts are often well structured, well thought out and intelligent.
