Obama released his birth certificate today.

This should shut up Trump. And basically every other republican....

This has to be the best thing ever:

John McCain was born in a Naval Air Station along the Panama Canal, a U.S. territory, not a state of the Union. He would have to become naturalized once he emigrated to the U.S. and would not have been eligible for presidency.

That is from a different, more unreliable site, but I still think it is hilarious, if true.

Even though I don't respect Obama, this is a democracy!

Republic and our president is elected through the electoral college.

Our democracy is pretty messed up actually.

Are the academic scholarships in Canada that bad?

No. Some of them are great. However they are restrictive. I have an above average average, however it isn't good enough for good scholar ships. Also many of the good scholarships my university gives out are only for people who live in it's region, I do not. So I'm stuck competing like a mad man for scraps.

I'm 17 and wolf is 19 we shouldn't be competing with other kids for scholarships to determine the rest of our lives

Furthermore I shouldn't have to waste a year of my life trying to find work and then working in a piss poor economy just so I can spend 15K or more for a single year of school. And then pray that I can scrounge up more money for the next 3 years. That doesn't even figure in two years of teachers college.

Gotcha, eh. Sorry about that, for some reason I assumed Canada had a much better public scholarship system.

Really between out two countries I think they're fairly similar if you're in the position of Above Average but not good enough

Mm, it's almost the worst position to be in; you can be accepted to higher tier colleges but you can't afford them.
