I personally think zombies have been overused in many video games. Here is a list of a few games that use them. 1. Left For Dead (1 and 2) 2. Black Ops 3. Plants vs. Zombies 4. Wolfenstien (I dont remember which one but there is) 5. Doom (Very old game) 6. Resident Evil (all of them) 7. The House of the Dead 8. Dead Rising 9. Call of Duty World at War: Zombies 10. Dead Space (1 and 2) Those are just 10 of the hundreds made. What do you think of this? Should new enemies be made or should zombies be improved to the point they can add a greater challenge by wielding weapons instead of overrunning you?
i agree that zombies are overused, too many games have them now and there are already games that the whole plot is about zombies. Then there are mini-games that use zombies now too (CoD zombies) it all just gets kinda old
Well As I said earlier, amidst all of the other non-Zombie games out there right now, the list provided is just a little bit. Plus its your decision to by all of these games. I only have 2 games involving zombies so its not as old to me.
zombies are not overused, if you think about it the some of the best games of all time involve zombies, and just so in dead space 1 and 2 they are not zombies at all they are called necromorphs, a totally different thing from zombies.
They got overused at the point when Plants vs. Zombies came out!! Even though it was an addictive game, it was just plain absurd to have waves of zombies being defended off by plants. Still a good game though. But as for FPS games, no no no no you cannot over use zombies!
I have had enough of Black Ops: Zombies now... I'm glad that Modern Warfare 3 has a new mode: "Survival" - sounds like it's going to be proper people in a mob. Close to your gun wielding zombies without the undead part.

Zombies might be overused, but, let's be honest. Do we EVER get tired of shooting and hacking them to pieces? I sure don't!
Zombies are beyond overused. There are a few good games that really execute the concept amazingly but some zombie games are just too much coped and repetitive.
