Today I was inspired by someone that we need change. I was the one arguing for it. In this world there are rebels everywhere, people are starting a world-wide revolution. Egypt, Libya, Iraq, I could go on all day. Maybe people are just stupid, scared, or too naive to do anything major other than just kill the ones who are opposed to them. Well, just what do we want? What do we want? Do really need or even want change? Is it a good idea? If it is, what would be the best change? Dictatorship? World-wide independence? Universal unity? I personally believe that a dictatorship with a strong checks and balances system would be the best. What are your thoughts? God, people are idiots anymore. I mean, some of those laws that are in place today have been around before the technological revolution! They mean nothing today. Best choice for weapons? Protest, violence, assassination? Are there more? To sum it up, these are areas of discussion: -Do we need it? -Do we want it? -Ideal government? -Unity or not? -Way to change ideas? -There are more, we can just start with these.
P.S. What would the world be after we went through it with our new ideas? Would it work? Effects on: -Media -Small laws -Daily life -Expansion to the outside universe -Expansion of people -Open mindedness -People's thoughts -Effect on natural world (i.e. ecology, pollution)

If you put checks and balances in place, it's not a dictatorship.
What we need to do is get rid of partisan politics. Congress need to be directly responsible to the people, and no taxation without representation! The people have extremely little say in the Government anymore, just what the partisans feel is right, so basically, whatever fattens their wallets. This isn't just republicans, this is Democrats, too. We need to get rid of partisan politics. period.
We need violence. And lots of it. Seriously, how many people across history have accepted an idea from a non-violent group? They say, "they aren't causing a fuss, so we can just ignore them." There are very few people who accept a non-violent idea whole.

That is a very stupid remark. Violence only begets more violence. Blood begets blood. There have been extremely powerful non- violent movements. Look at Gandhi, MLK, Jr., The dude in the Tienanmen square, the country needs LESS violence.
I know it sounds somewhat stupid, but if we look at something this big-something is universal, we'll need to go to desperate measures if we want to achieve this in less than 100 years. Of course, violence does start more violence, but look at how well terrorist groups are doing, they have the entire world eating out of their palms. As much as I don't want to say it, they work well.

BWAHAAHAHAHAHAHA OMG!! did you really just say that? some stinky, dirty dudes that hide in caves have the world on its knees? give me a break. All violence does is make people angry. Nothing gets accomplished with violence.
And if you're talking about uniting the entire world, never going to happen. There are far too different of views, beliefs, and all of that jazz to unite the entire world.

Yes. I just said that. Nothing gets accomplished when the world hates you, if many well-liked people do it others will follow soon after. There could be many forms of protest with the violence. If the world went to use every form of speaking out we would get there.

Don't you know that the world was once like this? Before the tower of Babylon the world was united. Not to go into a religious debate but SUPPOSEDLY God took the "not-so-nice" people and spread them out throughout the world.

You have to realize the time of this though. Everyone looked, acted, and believed the same. Now, people look different, believe different things, speak different languages, etc, etc... even if you somehow, by a miracle of God, got people to like each other, the work in getting everything translated, localized, and all of that would be immense. It's just not worth it. Conferences like the UN are enough

And everyone hates the taliban... If well liked people do people will follow, but most will say their just crazy.
