Regardless, he's dead. How he died remains unimportant. In fact that he died is also unimportant.

Ah, but to our perverse ideal of justice it is a very big deal. As if killing him will bring the ones who died in 9/11 back.

I'm done with this, goodnight guys.

it takes out the leadership. i think you fail to see how important a powerful respected (by the terrorists) is. and it's important because that's how we were able to use DNA testing to verify that it was him.

He was a figurehead. I'm pretty sure his power, or if he had any, was deadened a long time ago.

Leadership? The man is a figure head! He leads nothing! You...arg, no I won't even begin trying to get you off the crooked track you've settled on with your narrow thoughts. I'm done. Glory in his death all you wish it changes nothing. Go back and read my earlier posts.

you think that this doesn't lower their morale and raise ours. If you think that this has no positive ramifications then i can undoubtedly say that you are not only a heartless *******, but you are one dumb son of a *****

It went up and 9/11, then went down completely. But the government was to blood hungry they decided to kill him.

He was a member of an organization we where fighting, correct? So we killed him. Just another Al Quada member killed, a few thousand more and we can say we one the war.

saying killing him does nothing is like saying killing the president of the united states would do nothing. especially since he has been in power so long and probably doesn't have a particularly formidable leader in line to take his place.

Awesome...you fail to grasp the minor significance of killing him and I'm a dumb SOB. What good will come of this? You're fighting an idea. You cannot win against an idea.

More like the vice president. He doesn't actually have any power currently.

Anyone remember Sudam? Yeah. This is the exact same thing...

No. Absolutely wrong. He was NOT a leader. So that comparison is wrong. It fails. It does not succeed. If you hadn't lodged it in your mind so firmly it'd be pushing up the daisies!

Fair example. Killing the president would indeed do nothing for destroying the American culture.

Yeah, sorry, I don't follow you, Calvin...The killing of a president does not ruin all of our resources. The president does not control our politics.
