Is todays music different and if so has it changed for better or for worst?

it has definently changed for the worse around 10 years ago that was the best time of music I mean u had Good Charlotte and Simple Plan i guess Green Day but they are still amzazing 2day

heres something you guys dont seem to comprehend when you say that music has changed for the worse.

from the 60's to the mid 80's the rock genre wasnt as diverse as it is now. i mean in the 60's you had rock, classic rock, british invasion, those kinds. now we have rap/hip-hop, pop, R&B, Funk, Doo Wop, Metal, Punk, Indie/alternative, progressive, disco, and even more have ALL spawned off of the 50's and 60's

so naturally with all these genres, there are going to be be TONS of new artists. so due to common sense its alot easier to see why there are alot more bad artists out there, because there are alot more ARTISTS out there.

so saying music has changed for the worst is essentially stupid. because if you look at the diversity we have in the rock genre ALONE, then its **** near impossible to make an argument on how it has gotten worse
